@petermackett37 I was thinking the same thing. It seems to make sense though, about 25% less material to make them and you can fit more into a smaller space. I wonder if there's a noticable difference in sound as opposed to a traditional 4 sided pipe of the same construction. Pretty good sized band organ.
@flyurway Triangular flutes can be found in just about any Skinner organ of any size. The main reason to make pipes this way is to provide a mouth which is much wider than what is normal for a rectangular pipe.
