  • Holy shit. Phenomenal. Having more musicians adds so much more harmony and epicness to Don Cab's music. This is the way they are meant to sound. Absolutely SICK!

  • who, gettin the chills ....and I've heard this song a billion times....

  • recorded at macdonalds

  • looks easy, but it is really hard to work with looping pedals. these guys are really good at what they do with or without Ian Williams.

  • One of the greatest bands of our music..

  • An insanely talented rock band. You can't find them like this anymore.

  • Can i haz Ian Back ?

  • ian or not this is one of the most beautiful songs. Almost along the same lines of the musical optimism of June is Finally Here. it touches the heart. Halley's Comet last appeared in the inner Solar System in 1986 (june is finally here) and will next appear in mid-2061 (Railroad Cancellation) this is the 2nd appearance of the halley's comet of don caballero.

  • Apparently 2 People have aural AIDS.

  • It appears that Demon Che has cloned himself and created an army of uninspired guitar ornaments to hang from his limbs. This is a perversion.

  • @ilovethesechords hahaha! That is fuckin funny man. I know some of these guys, they all right.

  • Yeah he uses two Akais strung together. I own one because of him.

  • outstanding performance, whether you like the new doncab or not

  • Dat Record Store

  • Damon is really is a fantastic drummer n he really is underrated its too bad though iam sure he doesnt care

  • Tough crowd

  • @necklacing Indeed. That's some seriously weak clapping, and not a single "woo" to be found.

  • nicely done, from the recording to the playing, but is che the only original left? or is that che? he seems a little big, uhoh hehe not matter he is still amazing and don cab is the biggest shoulda been band meaning they should have been fucking huge, what happened?

  • May not be the old Don Cab, but it's great for what it is. It's great music, no matter what name it's under.

  • whose the guy in the bottom he's awesome for stepping down

  • I love this song!!! It reminds me of going back home for my Dads funeral & my HS reunion.

This song is emotional bandaid and not a vocal line needed.

    Great band.

  • your new comments suck.

  • your new comments suck.

  • static crowd

  • christ guys give it a break !!!

ok i was wrong !!! sweatybutcher set me straight two years ago with his comment hahah , why are people

    still commenting on this???????????

  • ian williams definitely used a loop pedal on american don, recorded and live.

  • saludos caballeroos¡¡

  • mmmeeeehhhhhhh.... poor drummer. what happened to his other guitar player?

  • @ilovethesechords He Plays on Battles now.

  • ATICAH! ATICAH! ATICAH!

  • Do you have video of more of this show.

    Freakin' awesome.

  • this song gives me chills every time. perfect.

  • it sucks in an internet way that you dont allow embed of this video. It freaking great and would love to share it but people fears

  • Sarcasm, my friend.

  • Who wants to stand there and respectfully watch a band for their music? It's all about running into each other and seeing who can disturb everyone elses shit the most.

  • no its not..

  • Well..perhaps they are "lifeless" I can't say, but the song for me is definitely one I listened to very closely first time I heard it. Kind of warrants careful listening.

  • We love the tune and especially think the drummer rocks!

  • what a bunch of retards. show some appreciation, your seeing Don Cab for fuck sakes. how often do you get to see em. these people that are just standing there watching deserve to burn in hell

  • word.

  • I feel the same, though I am hypocrite, as they came to my home town about a month ago and I COMPLETELY missed them! I had no idea... and at a tiny venue. It would've been SO FUCKING GOOD, but I am a fool

  • Maybe by standing there and watching them they are appreciating them. You don't have to be running around going crazy to show your appreciation. Plus they are playing in a record shop, I doubt the owners would be too happy at everyone fucking the place up. If I was there I'd no doubt be doing the same, standing still, but admiring great musicians at work. Each to their own I guess.

  • buncha lifeless cunts.

  • i was talking about the audience. who knows, maybe one of the lifeless cunts from the audience gave me the thumbs down...

  • Damon Che = the most underrated drummer alive

  • And as evidenced by his work in THE(e) SPEAKING CANARIES, one of the most underrated guitarists alive, too.

  • I could not agree more!!! He is awesome!

  • You fuck with Adebisi Shank?

  • I was agreeing with you dumbass!

  • "fuck with" means listen to. Do you listen to Adebisi Shank?

  • I do now! Thanks! Sorry for the confusion.

  • It's all good man!

  • Adebisi Shank are fucking insane. Love them

  • i agree. he can take on that Rush drummer any day. che can breathe fire... take that neil.

  • @ready2ruckk -----SPEAK

  • I fucking love Don Cab.

  • no one dances like they used to

  • we do in pittsburgh. we're not afraid to rock.

  • Listen to anything on American Don. Ian Williams very much did use a loop pedal, and it's awesome!

  • he did?

    my bad

but still its not the same without him

  • new don cab is the best

    loop pedals aren't that cool

  • new don cab is the best

    loop pedals aren't that cool

  • @slartibartfast12 HAHAHAHAHAHA. Ian actually used two Akai Headrushes.

  • @slartibartfast12

    That's true-- he used two.

  • @slartibartfast12 that's just not true. There's a live version of fire back about your babys new sex and you can see he's blantantly using one/.

  • @slartibartfast12 Yeah he did, he used two Akai Headrush pedals. I used to own one.

  • it aint the old don cab (of course) but still gets in my head

  • Tremendous drumming - use of the high hats is brilliant:)

  • One of the best songs in the 2006 album. Simple but effective guitar parts, nice bass harmony, and Mr. Che beating the drums with a lot of passion...

Obviously, it`s not the "old" Don Cab...

  • can u post any more of the rocking tracks online?

  • Awesome video, definitely seconding fartsnfire: if you've got more, let's see it.

  • REALLY great video! i saw them just a few days before this. going to see them tomorrow and then on tuesday. this just got me extra excited to go. thanks for posting. if you have more of this, please post it.
