  • I have no idea where Barney got so many killer riffs and hooks from, right through their 30 year catalogue. It is a source of constant amazement to me, even after 30+ years.

  • who said this isn't perfect

  • I swear if i ever learn to play guitar im gonna try play the section starting at 2mins into the song. Cant stop replaying it... beautiful !

  • i have this vinyl :)

  • wow !

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • Some very addictive guitar work in this track.. love it.

One of those tunes I could play all day long !

Kind of melancholic but yet still remains uplifting at the same time.

A beautiful paradox New Order has put me in many, many times :)

  • love the repetition and the chords hit a precise nerve...true feelings

  • this song is one of my favorites , glad they dont play it everywhere as it should be listened by the few who can appreciate true creativity..

  • Incredible!!!

  • joy division.

  • whattheheck, this is amazing.

  • No1 can ask any1 to do better music than this...

  • i love the new order, they reminds me of no doubt and they are my favourites for sure

  • New Order needs to make a comeback and remind the music industry what music should actually sound like.

  • Brilliant.

  • I litsened to this song for days on end when I was very ill coming off Herion, "Heven knows its got to be this time"

  • I still prefer Joy division

  • will now and forever be my favorite song ever....

  • The 12" version is very good, but this one makes me want to break down and cry. Beautiful.

  • @JoyousInsurrection I know this one always makes me want to cry. So sweet!

  • why did they re record this

the re recording is nowhere near as good as this

  • @GriefTourist its so long ago, but if i remember it right, thats original 7 inch sleeve and 12 was green with gold. wasnt the re recording 12 inch Blue and white sleeve. The first New Order release with Gillian?

  • I totally agree that this is the definitive transition track, because it makes the move into high-tempo electro pop that was New Order, or at least their early incarnation, while still retaining some of the pathos of Joy Division. As a Punk turned Techno, Everythings gone Green was a milestone also.

  • My favourite Joy Division/New Order song... ever. My God, even watching the cover of this 7" single gives me the chills. I remember buying it while realizing that this was the first New Order single. Yes, there is life after Joy Division! I never understood why the band recorded a second version of Ceremony though.

  • i thought this was 12. ugh so many versions fuck it.

  • tiferet or just find the middle path

  • What I would give for this with Ian Curtis vocals.

  • La più bella canzone mai scritta

  • so raw just Barney, Stephen and Hooky, you just have to love this!!!

  • Have you compressed this and stripped the cymbals off it?
