@aslacuentayya the thing is like this all started in mortal kombat mythologies (a prequel to MK1) where the first Sub Zero named Bi-Han he was contracted Quan Chi to kill Scorpion in order to steal a map of their clan the Shiray Ryu, then during MK1 Bi-Han is send by the Lin Kuey to kill Shang Tsung but he is killed by a revived Scorpion who seek vengeance for the destruction of his clan (even thought Quan Chi was the one who killed his clan and family and put the blame in sub zero)

Then during MK2 a new Sub Zero appears he end up being the younger brother of Bi-Han, this new sub zero is called Kuai Liang and he originally was nicknamed Thundra before he took the mantle of his brother, he seek revenge against Scorpion, it is through their fight that Scorpion realize the truth and he decide to forgive his life and decide from that moment on in to hunt Quan Chi, as for Bi-Han, in a similar way to scorpion he became a creature of the netherrealm, under the name Noob Saibot

In the story (complete mortal kombat, not just Deception), Smoke is the friend of Sub-zero. they were lin kuei, but when the lin kuei masters turned fighters into cyborgs, Sub-zero and Smoke escape from the temple, but Smoke was captured and turned into cyborg. So, at that time, which Sub-zero was Smokes friend? The old or the young Sub-zero? If the old, then I accept why Smoke join to Noob, but if the young, then why he killed him?

@seany1s Well it's simple, Noob Saibot is not Sub-Zero. He is Noob Saibot, a wraith who revels in being as ruthless and evil as he can. Noob Saibot is the corruption that was inside Sub-Zero which has now been brought to the surface and personified. He doesn't care about Scorpion. Scorpion is not his enemy, if anything I think Noob Saibot would be somewhat thankful to Scorpion for bringing him into existence.

Noob came back as a shadow of the being he once was and lost all compassion *im guessing* and basically just wanted revenge.

This ending is non-canon and just fun alternate-reality fan service to Noob/Smoke fans who beat the game with Noob and Smoke. Don't take it seriously. Everyone dies in these endings.

the endings arent acurate or even real, it just shows wat would happen if a character beats the final boss, a different result occur, for example, in armeggeddon the real endin is taven's, but with other charcter, they get power or weak the other kombatants

This ending is only partly canon. In Deception, there's no true direct ending, but Kitana's ending for MK: Unchained serves as an interlude for MK Armageddon. Apparently, the true story for the entire series is in MK Armageddon's conquest mode- and the ending of that game mode only serves as an interlude for the events of MK Armageddon.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies happened before the very first Mortal Kombat Tournament. Its why at the end of the game, you see Shang Tsung giving Sub-Zero an invitation to the tournament. Then again, dying in Mortal Kombat never meant anything, everyone comes back one way or another.
