my mum told me yesterday that she would sing this song to me when i was a baby it was so cute so now I’m learning it so i can sing it to my baby one day :)
when my dad left the hospital (Wooden ,A.C.T) when I was born, he jumped in his car and turned it on the radio, this song was just starting to play...and he sung it loud and proud, he said he could not stop singing for a week...I became his little ray of sunshine...lol
when I left the hospital at Mount Isa when my Daughter was born, I jumped in the car and turned it on and this song was just starting. I cried just like my new born daughter.
My dad used to sing this song to me when I was little. I'm going to have it as my father/daughter dance at my wedding next year :) This song makes me miss him so much...
Nice to see Shorrock start to relax when Cadd Ithe pianist) "walks" him into the chorus. Cadd really was light years ahead in professionalism from the rest of them.
this is the 1st song i heard on the Mater Hospital (Brissy) radio after my eldest daughter was born over 32 yrs ago, how fitting it was then and still is to this day!
When I was involved the night club 80s 90s. I got a request for this song. as his girl-friend had just given birth to their first daughter. He was amazed that I had it. (He did bring the 45 with him) THe song went done very well.
so glad you put this up...i was shocked to find your otherone was gone...now I am happy again...this song helps me get to my happy place when I am missing my dad ...thx again :)
