I always get a bad sector handling window popping up saying "Operation: READ sectors 0-63, or 64-127" error: Unkonwn error 1117. Any suggestions? I'm trying to rebuild a 3 drive raid 5. Also does anyone know what the default block size and parity rotation is for a brand new asus socket i5 board?
My RAID0 crashed, and I need to extract some documents. I am thinking of getting this software, however my RAID0 was my Windows RAID0. How Can I use this software then? Can I boot with it? Or connect the RAID HDD as external drives?
My 1tb lacie big disk extreme took a shit on me a while back. Not sure what's wrong with it, but the blue light in the front constantly blinks. I don't hear anything abnormal on the two 500 gb HD's so I don't believe it's a physical malfunction. But when I plug the external hd into any usb port it says "USB device not recognized". So thus I am in search of a raid0 2 bay enclosure for a decent price. Anyone know of any enclosure that would be compatible for my two hd's?
Guys I have a question. I have "dismounted" RAID0 in Nvidia RAID utility after BIOS load by accident. Now in order to put the RAID0 together the utility program says that the data will be lost.
I have spare identical computer (Dell XPS600) so I just internally connect my 2drives and use this program to make an image? Or is there anything else that I can do to mount my raid back with out losing my data?
1 My Lacie Big Disk was Mac formatted. Does that matter to Reconstructor?
2 If one of the drives in my RAID stripe crashed, Reconstructor cannot help me, correct? Reconstructor can only merge two working drives into 1 image, yes?
Why create a destripped image, why not just rebuild the array? Or is that too hard?
Sorry, if these questions are stupid. I don't know anything about this.
nice tutor indeed. but my system crashed down with this software last month. i turned to another one-Data recovery wizard restored all the files and docs.

okay, I have a couple questions...
