Macedonia was a greek region in ancient times.But since the reigh of khan Presiyan of Bulgaria,Macedonia became part of the first Bulgarian empire (around 837 I think).
When the Balkans started to free themselves from the turks, the turks started reforms in their empire that should make all faiths equal.One of these reforms is a ferman from 1870 which shows the borders bulgarian population and those that recognize the bulgarian orthodox church.

Bosnia and herzegovina is a REAL country you morron (spelling) ... It has been there sins the ottomans came and counquered it. The only reason you think its a new country is because it just got out och Jugoslavia (very good) . Bosnia has existed for a long time only that it hasen't got there terretorial borders until now.
