As long as you respect it any bike can kill you liter bikes can do it quicker than most if this is your first bike you are getting get something cheep than want hurt your pocket when you lay it down. Go with a 600
i was going to get the 2010 I did'nt tell anyone what i was getting, my boys went to the bike show in NY i did'nt go i asked them what they thought of the show, they said everything was good but the new honda's looked ugly as hell after that responce it was clear. two days later i went and got a silver 07
The new one is only better if you only take it to the track and nothing else. I burnt my leg getting off one in a test ride, cant do that with the under seat exhaust!
I brought a black 07 cbr1000 last night and it likes sick....with 4500ks on the clock and its never been on a track or been ridin in the rain....MINT!!!!!,hate the 08 look...UGLY AS
I don't understand the direction bike manufacturers are taking in regards to looks with their liter bikes.
All the post 08 bikes look horrible now, with the worst being the fireblade. The 08/09 blade just doesn't look like a honda anymore. 07 would have to be the bikes peak imo.
@Fistofass I agree, just bought an '07 silver fireblade Mostly 'cause of the look and it handles like my Smokin Joe 600. And Handles alot better than my Kawi. ZX-10R This bike is the perfect balance of Super-bike power and Excellent handling, Pirelli Diablo corsas, stick you like glue!!
I'm glad i'm not the only one who feels that way about the K8 Blade. Hell, even the new Ravens look like shit anymore. Thats the problem with bike manufactures nowadays, always trying to improve on something that is damn neart perfect already and fucking the whole thing up in the process.....
totally agree. If I had a lot of money I would buy the 2009 fireblade and reshape it like the old 2007 one. It would have the technology of the new bike and the looks of the old 2007.
And see thats exactly what they should have done, too. Updated technology, perhaps a little more factory horsepower and left the rest of the bike alone....
