sorry, but live after death is so overrated

but i think the voice of bruce is very bad (i know it was at the end of a long, long tour) on "live after death", the crowd is - thanks to martin birch - not to hear and bruce's "yeah, yeah, yeah" (f.e. in the intro of flight of icarus, the trooper) is just annoying. i think "beast over hammersmith", "rock in rio", "maiden england", "donington 1992" and "flight 666" are much better than "live after death" .

I remember when I first heard the LIVE AFTER DEATH album about 22 years ago & what I heard was amazing. I'd been only getting into metal but this performance really got me more interested. I've seen Maiden 3 times now & they are still amazing. The most recent show I saw was this year & they are still as good live as they were back when LIVE AFTER DEATH came out. They don't make bands like they used to!

I was in High School at the time. I lived about 45 minutes from Long Beach and it was the concert of High School. Maiden did not get any airplay so nobody knew how many tickets they would sell. They sold out five nights! Every metal head was at least going to one night. Some went all five nights. I went to the show on March 17th. A group of about 15 of us got a hotel room and let the party begin! Twisted Sister opened up and I remember Dee Snider cussing alot. And Maiden was amazing!
