This question is for the pilots. Is flying an unknown aircraft as easy as driving an new car for experienced fighter pilots? For example could a talented American F-14 pilot jump in a mig-29 or su-27 he has never been briefed about and fly it (as seen in JAG or firefox)?
He had been briefed and flown on a simulator that had been built on Baranovitch's smuggled out plans though this scene is sometimes cut. So long as you know where everything is on the control panel there is no real problem.

I've always liked that flight suit and helmet. Coolest rig I've seen for flight equipment. This and the flight suit for the early U-2 pilots as well.

canamwing, it's just a movie n we all know Russians aren't really bad n aggressive in real life. This movie shows Russian tech has went 1 step ahead by inventing turbofan engine with bypass ramjet. Nice Mig-35

This question is for the pilots. Is flying an unknown aircraft as easy as driving an new car for experienced fighter pilots? For example could a talented American F-14 pilot jump in a mig-29 or su-27 he has never been briefed about and fly it (as seen in JAG or firefox)?

He had been briefed and flown on a simulator that had been built on Baranovitch's smuggled out plans though this scene is sometimes cut. So long as you know where everything is on the control panel there is no real problem.
