  • i love Cunt Eastwards!

  • @thethinkdifferentman NO...IT'S CLIT EASTWOOD

  • 0:43 a Grey alien?

  • The movie is inspired in the real MIG 31 Foxhound, a supersonic russian interceptor that shootdown an F-14 TOMCAT. I think the movie is stupid...take the super aircraft without a fight and no AA guns or missiles to take it down before departing? LOL

  • What a rip off, I see no browsers in this film.

  • "You are in command now Admiral Piett!"

  • In the USA idiocracy

  • @762full

Hey, man. Who has allowed you propaganda your fascist ideology here?!

  • @SibTender I see the Russians have ganged up here.

Whats with you Russians and accusations of Fascism?

You sit there and point the finger at Germany and others for being being fascist, but Russia is probably the most fascist country ever.

You talk of nazi rehabilitation in the Baltics, but you people are the ones with the RNU Neo-nazis, Pamyat, Censorship, politicians like Zhirhinovsky who talk about invading half the world and nuking the other half, etc.

    You are the real fascists.

  • @762full

The unique country which used nuclear the weapon and used this weapon against the peace population, having killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki for two days 250 000 persons, this country USA.

Your comments provocative, discrimination, kindle international hatred. I inform administrations Youtube that you break rules of community of Yutube...

  • @SibTender You can also tell the Admins that you're technically doing the exact same thing.

    btw I'm not American.

and one more thing, 250,000 civilian deaths in a war is just a little different than a target extermination of 10 million Ukrainians a genocide.

or killing most of the Chechen population.

I'm Jewish and whenever I go to Russia all they do is call me Yid or Kike, no one will have sympathy for you.

If you dont want to have a discussion, then I will stop now. (debate is too much)

  • @762full

Chechen the population exists and today. I suggest you to arrive to the Chechen Republic and to repeat there your false words :)

Chechens rather severe people and, most likely, they will cut off to you a head and will give to dogs your genitals :)

You the fascist. The fascist has no nationality.

  • @SibTender Thats interesting for you to say, because I had a very good Chechen friend a few years back (Judo buddies) and he was one of the best I ever had.

He also hated Russians, so don't think for one minute you can bullshit me.

  • @SibTender I would also like to add that Chechnya does not have independence i.e. its own state.

Of course a Soviet such as yourself thinks all of his subjects are free and love him.

  • @762full

Neo-Nazi Yushchenko who forged results of elections, tried to use lie about those events for reception of political dividends, is expelled from Ukraine. The European commission has refused even to read this statement of neo-nazi Yushchenko. By the way, this lie also was including the reason of exile of this neo-nazi from Ukraine. The people of Ukraine have answered.

  • @SibTender Excuse me Neo-Nazi? Do you randomly call peoples such names for no reason?

Let me guess, just because he is anti-soviet, pro-ukrainian nationalist he is some sort of nazi.

I never heard him say anything related to nazism, in fact he is far more sympathetic to jews than his russian counterparts.

They don't have RNU or pamyat in the Ukraine, but they exist in Russia for sure, typically targeting central asians, (and chechens)

  • @762full

Me your nationality does not interest.

You have written something about the nuclear weapon concerning Russia, I have specified you the one who used such weapon.

You lie. Ukraine and Russia is one people divided by politicians. A cause of death of people in Russia and in Ukraine - the hunger, which reason - pity economy after revolution of 17th year and a turn of poor harvests.

  • @SibTender My friend you misunderstand, re-read my comment. I didnt say Russia used a nuclear weapon, I said Zhirihnovsky said that Russia should use them.

And also that Russia killed far more than 250,000 people. (this was from another comment)

  • @SibTender

I find it absolutely APPALLING that you deny the Holodomor and am DISGUSTED by this brutish remark.

It was a targeted killing that was more effective than gassing people.

How can this be you ask? The nazi camps ran for around years and killed 6 million Jews, the orchestrated starvation killed more than 10 million within a few months.

It would appear the Russians are more adept at murder

For anyone to deny any genocide to too much for me stomach.

  • @762full

Russia has given independence to the Chechen Republic. But the first visit which was made by Dudaev, was visit to the USA. After that visit Dudaev has begun a genocide of the Russian population and has opened gate to the Chechen Republic for radical sectarians-Islamites from Afghanistan and the similar countries. All it has been paid by dollars from the USA. Chechens are grateful such as you for this war...

  • @SibTender No Chechnya does not have independence, it is no its own state.

We can play games and make arguments that Tibet is also independent, but I wanted to have an ""honest"" and ""truthful"" debate.

  • @762full

I repeat: you break rules of community of Youtube...

  • stupid film

  • @Vyun1969 You're stupid, + a communist

  • @762full

I stupid and the communist? Hmm... I never noticed it...

Perhaps, you the paranoid troll and yours IQ no more than 60? It is more probable :)

  • @Vyun1969 You're russian/east ukrainian, so you must be very clever :)

Go milk your cow and fuck your cousin

  • @762full

Oh, your comment testifies to your "spacious" intellect and your level of moral:)))

I was right, you dreg of society :)

  • @Vyun1969 I said go milk your cow

  • @762full

You break rules of community Youtube...

  • My God it's just a SR-71 with a red star on it.

So what's the big secret about it capability?

  • I was 10 years old back then when this came out, saw it in the theatres.

Can't believe it has been nearly 30 years.

  • @mrceebees14 "I was 7 I have never gotten tired of watching that take off at 2:36, As a child, when that part came on, I would stick my arms out as if they were wings and just fly at full speed around the house! I would get yelled at for that one! LOL!

  • Evil grin...Steal It !!!!!!!

  • I remember 3:10 was the most heart striking scene of the movie when the dying Soviet cooperator knew the success of the mission.

  • This fictional aircraft very closely resembles the XB-70 "Valkyrie" supersonic bomber, one of which remains at the Air Force Museum in Ohio. There are plenty of pictures of it on YouTube. It actually flew.

  • Due to the violence of scenes like this one, I am very sure it would be rated PG-13 if released today

  • with the red baron chasing him lol.

  • wenn die russen sowas wirglich gehabt hätten..........................das ende der welt

  • this movie reflects an event of 1975, when (Lt.belenko) a russian pilot escaped to japan with a MIG 25 foxbat, a fast and superior fighter and still secret plane of that age

  • @hotello2009 John Barron wrote a book about a Russian pilot escaping to Japan with a Soviet MIG.

  • @Nguli34689 ; Yes, I remember the story. It happened 25-30 years ago; the Soviet Pilot was Major Viktor Belenko, escaping on a MIG 25 FOXBAT flying low to Japan avoiding radar detection. I do not remember the exact year, but should be between 1976 and 1979

  • @hotello2009 Why would a Russkie want to defect to Japan? Japan has no vodka, and the poor Russian would have had to eat sushi for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A very strange choice to make for a Russkie.

  • @jamessmedley82 eheh, very funny consideration. But he asked for political asylum to the Us Authorities, based on Japan airfield and he was transferred

in america as refugee, in exchange for the MIG 25 that before being returned to Russia was inspected and examined...in america he could have drunk all the vodka and whyskey he wanted.

  • @hotello2009 The Yanks inspected the MiG25? That's like Bill Gates inspecting hieroglyphics inscribed by ancient Egyptians. MiGs are primitive mechanical tools compared to Yanqui jets.

  • @jamessmedley82 : do not forget that those yankee jets have been built under original German design. After all a yankee is a cowboy riding an horse all day long drinkin Gin and shootin rats.. and... Sometimes he mistakes, and hit an hospital...

  • @hotello2009 I didn't know Yankee jets are based on German design, but I wouldn't be surprised. NASA's Saturn rockets were based on German WW2 design, apparently.

  • @jamessmedley82 Yes, but not only. Soviet Jet fighters of 1947-1950 were all "inspired" from German Projects. Look at the FW183; the Focke Wulf 183 was a German jet whose prototype fall into soviets hands. Practically It is a Mig 15, recall them with google and comparize their look

  • 3:41 lagg xD

  • Dear All,

I have some question about psychology and sociology:

    (1) Why do many people want to be fighter pilot and fly in the sky?

(2)Why do we enjoy to hear the powerful, loud and high-pitch sound of jet engines?

    (3) Why do we relate space and aviation with Americans' culture and values?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • Stupid questions and don't act like you're popular.

  • To: Hikarilover123

Please respect my freedom of speech and my right to ask opinion from other.

  • Heh, that Russian officer. . .was Admiral Piet from the original Star Wars trilogy. . .

  • it's devil to every god

  • Read years ago that Clint wanted to use a Saab JA-37 Viggen as the Firefox. Can't remember why it never worked out though....

  • My guess is that he realized it wouldn't have made much sense to have Firefox, the World's newest and most advanced super-fighter looking like a plane that had been in service for more than a decade.

  • このKGBの大佐役の人、スターウォーズ・帝国の逆襲でスターデストロイヤーの艦長役でも出てましたね

  • そのとおりです。

    この俳優は帝国軍のピエット提督役のケネス・コーリーです。

  • I think that Firefox plane resembles a Sukhoi T-4 or SU100.

  • How is this part 1?

  • ファイアーフォックスの制御はロシア語で考えることです。

Control of Fire Fox is to think in Russian.

Контроль пожарной Фокс состоит в том, чтобы думать на русском языке.

  • At 2:15 is it just me or does that guy actually say "shoot the tires"? Anyway loved the movie.

  • gooooooo on clint!!!

  • Fighter jets tires cant be shot out, they are solid rubber.

  • noob...

  • Stupid was when the guy identified Mitchell Gant and just basically sat there and let him fly out of the hanger. Why not just shoot his tires immediately? Duh.

  • Precisely. I was thinking the same of shooting at the tires so he cannot take off, and shooting tires causes damage that can be easily repaired. This kind of stupid stuff happens only in Hollywood. In real life, Mitchel Grant would have been killed in a blink of an eye.

  • When I was a kid, I loved the second half of the movie (when he stole the jet) compared to the first (going to Russia and somehow getting to the jet). Now I love the first half of the movie.

  • The way i look at it is that was jewish weapon...the russidans force them to make it agaist there will...so it was never really Russian....jejeje dont mess with the JEWS

  • Yeah, if the scientists had escaped they would've made the Lavi in Israel.

  • I don't get it. Why did he have to steal a Russian plane. I've heard so many comments from Americans stating that their own planes are the best...so why steal foreign technology?

  • The Firefox is controlled by neural interface, i.e. instead of using your hands, you use your thoughts and reflexive thinking to control the FF's weapon systems. That increases reaction time by a meaningful amount. And since the Americans couldn't perfect the neural interface method yet, they had to steal the bucket-o'-bolts to rob the Soviets of this decisive advantage.

  • Are you enjoying your ride, Mr. Gant... like our new toy?

  • Ha it might be a jet fighter, but they used a helicopter engine for the start up sequence, a rolls royce C250 from a jet ranger (B206) thanks for the clip

  • if such aircraft would exist. it would be unbelibable.

  • SU-35 TERMINATOR....that is the Firefox today. And it can do plenty of things not revealed at airshows.

  • Its SU-37 actually..

And SU-37 will not be as good as the upcoming new fighter they are development now.. the PAK-thing

  • no airplane mig 31 fire fox type w nuclear russian!!!!!!!

  • I can still remember seeing this on Vhs back in the 80's as a kid. Blue Thunder came out around the same time, both were good movies.

  • I will agree with you my friend I own both.

  • money.

  • a great film one of clints best i think !!

  • What a Great Movie!!

Was the First Film that i See in a Theater, I think it is 85 or 86

  • uar armselig dieser firefox ur alle tschobans alles nur gespielt

  • That was 1 fantastically mad jet. :D

  • Clint! You forgot to take the blueprints as well! They're just gonna build another one, god damn it!

  • clint rules

  • One the DVD there is a documentry, and in one part you hear Clint talk about how one of their flyable model planes crashed into a street in LA and caused a traffic accident, it was proably not more than a four foot model plane, but what a story!

  • I wonder if he was Thinking in Russian as he was pulling away from the hanger.

  • I owned both destroyed HINDs :-(

i was aboard one of them in fact.. that hurt

  • yeah im sure

  • Who wrote that?

I DIDNT wrote that thing.. even as a joke it does not make sense in the context here..

Can youtube directors edit our comments now or what?

  • unless someones hacking your account

  • Id love to own that plane

  • I already do.

  • i mean the real plane

  • I know what you meant. I own the original plane. Clint borrowed it from me when he shot the movie. He gave it back. He was cool about it.

  • Yea and i own the other one. they just made it look like it was destroied

  • What a awsome movie this. Subsequently, I've only seen bit and peices and especialy the last half of this movie which is great. Gotta give a great deal of credit to Clint Eastwood in this movie because he really know his flying skills. Thanks again. :)

  • WOW, I did not know that Clint Eastwood can also fly a plane. I wonder when he got his license. I think he got it from Tuco or Angel Eyes.

  • Yes, he also has worked in a circus, as a cop, a gun expert, a photographer, and an astronaut in his lifetime to-date. What'll be next, I wonder?

  • Maybe a Sequel to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Too Bad Lee Van Cleef cant be in that movie. What incredible talent he had.

  • Sure, that'd go over well with audiences. A bunch of old-timers shootin' it out in 19th century America. They might as well call it The Old, The Forgotten, and the Has-Beens.

  • Do you think they would think in Russian?

  • Well, in Firefox, at least, Clint's character would HAVE to know how Russians live/think in order to blend into their society inconspicuously, as he's a spy/thief of sorts.

  • You did'nt get it dude. Mitchelle Gant had to think in Russian to fire the missles.

  • Man, thise scene is so cool Especially when Gant turns the lights on on the FireFox.

  • He owns a AS-355 Twinstar (Squirl) Helicopter in real life, and is certified in it.

  • I've always liked that flight suit and helmet. Coolest rig I've seen for flight equipment. This and the flight suit for the early U-2 pilots as well.

  • classic jew anti soviet propagnda!

  • canamwing, it's just a movie n we all know Russians aren't really bad n aggressive in real life. This movie shows Russian tech has went 1 step ahead by inventing turbofan engine with bypass ramjet. Nice Mig-35

  • What, USA stealing a Russian plane?!?!?!?

    Impossible!!!!!!

    [MiG-25 and F-15]

    [Yak-144 and F-35]

  • The runway scene is so cool. The movie really makes you wait for it.

  • yeah its like the best part ... or when he is just walking towards the hangar

(dressed as a GRU officer) and the plane is finally revealed.

  • ロシア語で考えること、必ずロシア語で。

  • バラノビッチ博士が持ってた拳銃は、マカロフピストルかな?

  • This question is for the pilots. Is flying an unknown aircraft as easy as driving an new car for experienced fighter pilots? For example could a talented American F-14 pilot jump in a mig-29 or su-27 he has never been briefed about and fly it (as seen in JAG or firefox)?

  • He had been briefed and flown on a simulator that had been built on Baranovitch's smuggled out plans though this scene is sometimes cut. So long as you know where everything is on the control panel there is no real problem.

  • READ THE BOOK.

  • Sympa ...

  • i remembr that part

  • awesome

  • shit,that's the coolest thing with wing's.
