@Nathervap Don't settle for a limited signature model - go semi-custom with a Carvin V200 or Ultra V. Diamond inlays are an option; Floyds are too! You get two pickups standard which can handle clean sounds too. You can make up the difference in gain with a pedal or an amp. The optional M22SD pickups play pretty hot. And I'ld bet you could order one with a single pickup as well, even though they don't advertise that option.

Carvin guitars suck chode. I've played tons of them, they're well made but there's no personality, no matter how many custom options you get, it just seems so cold, stiff, just dead wood. Plus their humbuckers are meh at best. All of their guitars have the same neck shape, which isn't all that comfortable.

I find it to be the perfect tuning, but that's my opinion. I recently fiddled around with C# and D standard, even drop C, but I still went back to good ol' Eb. There's something about it. It's heavy as hell, but you can still play various styles of music without sounded too tuned down and having flappy strings. I don't think I'll ever stop loving Eb.
