This song is a classic. Here is the thing. The Spinout album was the usual lousy movie songs, however, the three bonus songs, this and Tomorrow is a Long Time and Hi-Heel Sneakers are three of the GREATEST Elvis songs you will ever hear. We love and miss you Elvis.

What a lovely version Elvis does on this Kui Lee song! What a loss for the State of Hawaii when Kui Lee passed away at such a young age of cancer. He was a beautiful songwriter who wrote such lovely music. What he could have written had he lived on to write his songs. Another great Kui Lee song sung by Don Ho called "Days of My Youth". Just beautiful!

Jackie, This is another beautiful, and wounderful video with great photos of E. Thank you so much for sharing, and I use this video to remember E always. Last night it sudeenly dawned on me in this beautiful ballad by E it was his beloved mama Gladys he was thinking of when he recorded this song. There is a verse that says I'll be lonely, oh, so loneley, living only to remember you. He said "he would give every dime he had if it would bring her back". It is perfect example of love and devotion.
