@mabryzealand, the origional to this song was released in 06/07. this is a re-release also diddy ant doing anything but MCing a few words... most of the vocals are from the origional and not him. he isnt really trying anything new in my opinion still love this track
This song is now available on iTunes, for those wondering. Alot of people dissing it there, but I love it. It's classic because of the opening words by Diddy. LOL.
I first heard this song on Mixmag covermount cd by Felix in 04, this song was in my head for months working a restraunt that I will leave unmentioned. Killer tune

@airmatt86 - Derrick Carter, Gene Farris, Felix Da Housecat ( splits time between New York ), Green Velvet / Cajmere, Frankie Knuckles, Bad Boy Bill, Collette ( now in Los Angeles ) Steve "Silk" Hurley, DJ Funk, DJ Sneak ( now in Montreal ), Paul Johnson, Grammy Award winner Maurice Joshua...
This is a terrible track, from the outdated trance drum fills to the overall genericness of the vocals and beat. Who even says "Jack U" anymore? I love felix the housecat but this is way below his standard. I get the impression diddy was given a lot of creative control on this track, so what we end up with is a noob to the genre getting all wanky over the sounds he liked in turn of the century electronic music. I DJ in a small club and if i played this track people would be like...wtf mate.
Props to diddy for moving toward Electro. Because i love electro, and although i am not one of the most fond of people to see it go mainstream. But the more Electro the better in the end that is what i say. I like Electro, so if there is more choice and more competition, i am pretty sure it will create innovation.
In my opinion this track is not all that. If a real house dj came out with this it would not have gotten a lot of attention, just a mediocre track, if that! But since it's diddy people went crazy "OMG diddy did a hot electro-house track!"
You're right, Felix isn't a real house DJ. I guess, seeing as he's been electroclash since the "Silver Screen" days. However, to say he hasn't played a serious part in the Chicago scene and hasn't earned the right to this remake is pretty dishonest.
He got Diddy to do the vocals since he'd done some serious production work (like, a couple albums' worth) for Diddy at that point. Tit for tat and such.
If this got "a lot of attention", it wouldn't have had such shitty vinyl sales. Don't ask.
I agree completely, in fact I'd go so far as to say this track is really kind of crap, and it would SO not fly in any kind of real electronic music scene. ps. I'm a fan of felix

I think this is the best version. It is dirtier and more raw than the Angello Ingrosso mix.
