It's not a terrible criticism, but I think it's obvious that she's mainly worked on the stage, because her facial expressions are slightly too exaggerated. Perhaps it would be better if it was slightly more subtle. Great performance though -- the live band is great.

I think it's always difficult in comparing us to America, but the fact that there is a black president shows that the issue is decreasing if anything. It would be ignorent for me to say that there is no racism in the UK, but the victory of many black people shows that we aren't a bunch of evil racists who oppose everyone different to us. i think people need to remember that this is for the eurovision song contest. it isn't the xfactor.

eurovision demands either something quirky (which we don't have in the running, so thats out), a hot woman with a fiesty song, or a handsome guy belting out a cheesy ballad.
