I'm learning this song up to the accordion bit for a band cover, and I gotta say, the intro and lead runs I can handle, but damn some of those riffs are hard. I'm having trouble pretty much from 2:35 right up until 3:26.

You need to want to practice all the time like I do and i agree with mgcmnz that you need to work on scales and excersizes before learning songs because the scales and excersizes are much more important trust me.

thanks dude. i know what u mean by getting distracted, i went through that too. u just have to have a schedule and a format of how your gonna practice. i like to do scales and exercises for an hour or so a day then i'll work on learning songs and then i'll work on my writing as well. once you discipline yourself you won't get distracted

well btbam tunes to c# standard. if you want to tune to drop c, tune the low e down a whole step which will put the guitar in drop d, then tune the rest of the strings down a whole step also, which will put it in d standard, then drop the d string another whole step which will put it in drop c. hope that helps

thanks for the advice but i dont know a whole lot about guitar stuff, i have no clue how much a step it and its realy hard to tune it just because my guitar has a floyd rose and it realy fucks it up easily

yeah, but if u dont know how to tune to c u probably can't learn this song, no offense, start on something easier, and u have to adjust your springs in the back so when u tune to D aka. drop C that the floyd rose becomes flush with the body and stays in tune once tuned... it's a pain the ass and it's the reason why i never change out of drop c lol

trust me ive learned absolutley every song from every band i like that i wanted to and none of those were challenging, i want something challenging to lern and this seems a little hard so im learning no matter what, i haz electric tuner but it doesnt help but like i accidentaly posted from my other account: is there another way to play it with standard tuning?

a whole step equals two frets on the guitar, a half step equals one. and yes floyd roses are a pain to tune, i have one on my guitar also. there are alot of good tutorials on how to tune and set up a floyd on youtube, try searching for that. tuning is alot easier once you have the basic knowledge of where the notes are on the guitar
