Hey friend. Ya know that Farnell transformer. It works sweet. I changed some caps inside as thay was from its first days. So I replaced them. And its working wicked. Gave it some rubber feet and new mains wire and a good clean. And we are cooking with gas lol. Thanx bud for comment ;-) ;-) ;-)
Nice one, I have an old point and shoot camera here that an uncle gave me that randomly shuts off. I suspect a loose battery connection somewhere and I am going to see what I can do to get it working. I could use it as a close up camera (it does basic video) when I am making high voltage videos.
BTW I hate this new youtube layout/style and accidentally clicked the un-subscribe button, don't worry I clicked subscribe again!
@Alex1M6 Hi mate. Yea it's a great idea to get all the older stuff working isn't it, instead of just throwing it away, especially considering that in it's early days it was probably bloody expensive technology.
Agreed on the YT comment. I've no idea why they feel the need to continually screw around with the layout. I guess I'll get used to it though.... Eventually :)
