I dont remember it being a problem to fit at all. I did trim down the stick it attaches to as the trex canopy doesn't stretch like the belt's plastic canopy.
Not sure really what to suggest. I found that once I set the tx up enough to fly the heli, I was making small tweaks to the programming for weeks. After about 20 flights or so I was happy with the set up. I think every heli would be set up differently to suit it's own characteristics and the pilot's flying style. I have two Heli's set up at the moment and they are completely different. I don't use flight md2 it is set the same as flt md1. I have set the AILERON D/R switch for throttle hold(0%).
This Throttle hold is handy as I like to fly in idle up (flt mode1) so when I land I can just kill the throttle then switch to normal flight mode. Switching straight to normal flt mode used to make the heli jump a foot off the ground. One thing I will say is not to forget to re-bind the tx and rx after set up and changes. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck and happy flying!
No prob's. As the belt-cp is quite small. The weight of the receiver battery completely distroyed the performance so I left it off. the power came from the built in BEC of the ESC. I only plugged in the receiver battery when I wanted to set up the pitch curves without risk of the motor comming on. The receiver was mounted at the back of the under carrage with the sattelite receiver as far to the front as possible. I did take me a while to get my head around the programming of the DX7.
nice vid. can you tell me if the trex canopy fits perfect in the beltcp without modifications?
