Let me put it this way, in the english Dub, Asuka had a better Voice actress because she not only spoke German more often, but spoke it FLUENTLY, unlike in the Japanese Dub where it's little more than gibberish.

In that respect, the English dub itself was better by building on an important quality of Asuka's character.

Beyond that, I would say comedy anime is largley better in English because the jokes are put into terms the audience can better understand.

I've been meaning to use more advanced techniques, but I've only been experimenting a bit. There's so much to do with Sony Vegas. I only sped things up to keep the timing right, at least from my point of view. I didn't do just for the hell of it. I tried splitting up the fight scenes in segments to make it a little more view-able. I find it better than have one long scene you've all seen before being played over and over again.

I wanted to use the clips I wanted to use because I thought that they fit well. I only used the entire fight scenes because I found that they fit well IMO at the time. I did not use long scenes like many AMVs on Youtube do. I split them up to keep things interesting, while trying to keep the timing on que. I barely used any special effects at all. Besides, the ones I used were very basic. I know it's far from perfect. Maybe you should make an Evangelion Hell Song AMV and show me the ropes.

And one more thing, I was, and sitll am, a newbie to this stuff. Of course it's not going to be perfect, and you may have gripes about it. Of course, a lot of AMV makers here are just lazy on their first couple attempts, but I tried to avoid that and made something that actually showed effort at least some effort. If you don't like what I did with the video, then fine. Give it a mediocre rating or rant. Just bare in mind that I did the best I could at the time.
