yeah... a halarious thing i found out about this fight was that he was suseptible to doom...and he dies in 4 turns... which is less then biran and yankee... it took me forever to find this out though i had to fight him for like half an hour tryin to figure out what to do and i tried doom and it actually worked to my great suprise XD

I think the biggest irony about the way this game ends...

... Is that this entire time, we thought -Yuna- was the one who was going to eventually vanish-- Whereas instead: It turns out that Tidus is the one who's going bye-bye...

... Really, it's an excellently well thought out plot twist that doesn't really occur to you until the moment everything's coming down.

All and all: Great ending, and I'm glad I got to see this. Thanks NCS!

Tidus would have had to be alive at the end because for half of the game he is telling the story right? And how could he have held weapons that were real if he wasn't and how could Yuna and him have kissed if he wasn't real... This is getting too complicated lets just say its Square logic and call it a day.

@alinktothefuture44 TIdus is a "dream". He's like an Unsent. If you recall, the Unsent can still interact with physical objects. He's not really a "dead" unsent like Auron, because he's never truly dead. But in the end when the sources of his own existence (the Zarnakand dreamers) die for real, he ceases to exist.

the part when they kiss was when he was still a dream - an existence supported by the Zarnakand dreamers.

I never finished X neither X-2 because i was kinda small and didnt understand the sphere grid..

But its now a good memory from my childhood, and the game has more emotions than any movie or game in my opinion. Its just so good. And im not a nerd or anything, i skate and do other sports etc :D FFX <3

Man the ending gets me every single time.

When I first completed saw the ending I cried because it was sad. Now I cry because I understand Yuna's pain of losing the person you love.

the outcome of the end of Auron was that he became a citizen of the underworld in kingdom hearts. However in the same game, Tidus and Wakka apear as kids on destiny island with sora, kairi, and Riku (the boy from KH originaly, however a fairy version of rikku from ff x-2 also apears in hollow bastion along with Paine and ff x2 version of yuna).
