When the blue bot presses the button to open the door, he "Smiles" with a sort of squint. He also hugs his friend for coming back. They also feel accomplished for giving each other a high five at the end. These are all signs of emotion, or at least some emotion is needed. So in my opinion, they seem to have emotion. GlaDos also has emotion. Hatred. (Or somewhere around that) XD

Co op looks amazingly challenging. I'm one of those guys that if I get stumped I'd just sit there for a minute or two pondering how to do it and trying different things and the real hard part would be finding a partner with as much patience as I have. I hope it will be good tho, I can't imagine people playing portal co op if your not that type of person as well. :)
