i have a zen. it has firmware problem. i tried all the options when it got on recovery mode. but it keeps saying firmware problem! how do i fix that???

Every time i turn on my zen creative[8g] it says "firmware problem".then when i try to conect it to my pc to update it,it doesnt say that a device has been conected.same when i do so with to my xbox360.HELP PLZ :| :P

I had the same problem, you need to go to device manager, uninstall the driver, unplug the zen and plug it back in, then it will re install the driver, then try the update. Worked for me :)

what is the zen micro driver? i dont have the software/CD. my cousin's girlfriend gave the micro to me n she cant find the CD. HELP please.

you can probably get the driver off the creative website. If your using vista as far as I know it doesn't work.
The firmware comes from the creative website and it won't install with media player 11 installed. You need to uninstall that and revert to 10. Once the firmware has been installed you can stick media player 11 back on but I don't think you can sync with it.

what's exacly your problem ?
just DOWNGRADE firmware and then you can use it . then install gnomad2 from repository
