Anyone with ability to pronounce 28 sounds (A LOT less than in english), can read finnish out loud after only few hours of practicing. Lets say that is to walk 5 km. Then comes understanding what you read. It would be something like running that 5 km under 20 minutes. Then comes understanding what ppl actually say with their own dialect. Its like breaking a record on running 100m. (Every Finn can of course do this all.)

Dear Finns, correct me if I'm wrong but I'd say that Finnish is the toughest language on the planet. In German we have 4 cases yet in Finnish there are 15 and I heard you also inflect the negation...also the agglutination of sentence particles into one massive word (with countless y,k,ä) and the vocabulary that is completely unrelated to Germanic or Romanic languages. Respect for mastering that language. I'm wondering whether there are foreigners who are fluent at it.
