..Doesn't Photoshop CS3 have animation features? Why are you going to all the trouble of copying and pasting each frame into WMM if you can just make all the animation in CS3?

Oh you animate with Adobe Photoshop CS3... I animate with Pencil... I personally think that it is harder to draw with a mouse than a tablet/kanvas/track pad thingy or whatever. i need to get one...

simsgirl99, it's probably the same way a bit. u. just draw the tail in diff positions and each position save. then put the seperate frames all 2gether on WMM and speed them up.

I used a program called After Effects (also by Adobe) to animate with a single image, but it was bad. (I was only 11!!!) I made a car animation.

This method looks cool, but also time-consuming.

Guys, before anyone says they NEED CS3 to do this, you don't. You can do it on GIMP, or lower versions of Photoshop, like Photoshop elements. It saves you a LOT of money.

u do know that u dont have to use speed up double right? u can just go to tools and the click options and u can press the arrows and it can make the speed as low as .125 and that way all u have to do is drag the pic onto the timeline and all ur pics will be that speed without have to do all that extra stuff

You can also directly animate in photoshop. To try on that, you've got to go to ' window -> animation '

It's not that hard ^^ I figured it out by myself :3

Some of the older versions are really cheap, you may want to check ebay or the Adobe website. No, once you buy it you don't need to pay more. You can download a 30 day trial for free off of the official website too--

Other programs such as GIMP or Paint(.)net (a program, not a website) are free and work pretty much the same.

You can usually find it on Photoshop, and you can use it to animate, instead of saving every picture individually.

Go to the bottom left right above your first slide where it says 'Storyboard' and click it to make it a Timeline there you can make it longer or slower, then you can go back to storyboard to do effects and transitions!

I just figured out how to do it! You make it in Adobe Photoshop CS3 (other versions might work) and on another layer make a really long BG. Do the technique in the vid for running cycles. Then, put it in iMovie and keep on switching the cat's position and the BG position, and you've got it!
