  • I had only ever heard this played by a dance band (Charlie Kunz's Casani Club band), so it's nice to hear Robert Wilson making a great job of it too. If my facts are right, Charlie Kunz also used a Scottish vocalist, George Barclay on many of his recordings. Robert Wilson was outstanding.

  • From all accounts he was not only a great singer but also a great human being, generous with his time and talent, unlike so many in showbiz.

  • I can't believe you have found all these videos of Robert. Was one of my favourite tenors in the 60's, when I collected an LP of his, with "down in the glen" and many more .I don't have a record player now, but still have the records.
