  • Nice vid mate. Great scenery out there Cheers

  • thumbs up to your meal! thats the same one I go with!

  • Awesome scenes - really enjoyed watching this hike and hang! Thanks for sharing it with us!

  • Had to watch again was well worth it , Now did you have to pack all your water in or did you have a source to top off at along the way . I used to love seeing the lights of Albuquerque as I came down I 40 at night when I was a OTR Driver

  • @medicjimr

Thanks for watching my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had to pack all of my water in this time. Sometimes you can find a pool of water within the rocks or low spots on the mesa top, but there has not been any rain for several weeks, and I did not see any water. There are sources of water in the Ojito Wilderness, however, they are hard to find, long scattered, and you need a filter. After a rain storm, water can be found all over! Albuquerque lights at night are awesome!

  • Who is the guitarist?

  • @JellyDont

Thanks for watching! Each song is a different guitarist. The songs and artists are in order of play: Jason Gregory - Mole in the Ground Jaquie Gipson - Hide N Seek. Al Stewart - Ivich. John James and Pete Berryman - Sky In My Pie.

  • @CrazyTaileZ

Thanks for the timely response. Love the videos and love the music. Great open tuning on the guitars. Gotta love it all. Best to you. Keep it up.

  • Awesome video!!! What kind of stove are you using? What happened to the Snow Peak Gigapower that I've seen in your other videos? Any reason your not using it anymore?

  • @h2oman3rd

Thanks for watching! The stove in this video is called the SOTO Micro Regulator Stove. This stove uses the fuel more efficiently than the Snow Peak Giga Power stove and has a great flame pattern. It's designed to work very well in extremely cold weather. My giga power stove is still being used and it's still my favorite 3 season stove, but I thought I would show folks the SOTO micro regulator stove in action on a normal summer day.

  • like the new logo great vid!

  • Wow, adding Ojita to my list of dream locations...am going to spend a few months roaming the southwestern deserts this fall, sure hope to make it. Amazing landscape, thanks for posting up!

  • @touchnova Thanks for watching my friend! The Ojito Wilderness is an awesome place in the fall. Temperatures are cooler and its more enjoyable when hiking and roaming around. If Chaco Canyon is on your list, I would highly recommend putting "The Bisti Badlands" on there too. It's only 30 miles outside of Chaco Canyon and The Bisti Badlands looks like somthing not of this earth, time, or age! I hope to do a video of it soon.

  • @CrazyTaileZ Awesome info - I've not yet visited Chaco, despite many trips to the southwest over the past 7 years. I'll definitely be visiting on this coming trip however, adding Bisti Badlands to the list for sure...awesome! Thanks for the tips man, much appreciated.

  • Outstanding Outstanding great job as always editing first class my friend , looked like a great trip I am heading out in about an hr to do a local overnight hang camera went back to canon for repair so no video tonight grr
