@MichaelSar12IsBack Well, in all actuality, as far as the Toy Story timeline go, these shorts never happened. Some of them seem as though they can take place within the movie but they are not meant to be within the continuity. ABC wanted these shorts made so they could help Pixar promote the movies and toys and my assumption is that they didn't want to give away any important pieces of the film so they might have made think Buzz is the real Buzz for that reason. Just a speculation.

@gmcubed Disney/Pixar does an exceptional job with finding substitute voice actors to voice the characters. I would've never realized that Jim played Woody because it was so hard to tell. It was a little easy to tell with the Woody vs. Lenny short though.

@Gotmilk0112 Not true. The sound seems lower-pitched for some reason. How I know is that I've seen this in the "Ultimate Toy Box" DVD set, and the pitch is a little higher than this.

I actually think some parts sound more like their original actors, woody in particular, but yeah other parts like buzz sound weird this way.

And besides...if you notice...any damage on the toys is immediately undone at the start of a new movie. For example,

From 1 to 2, Woody's burn scar on his forehead (from Sid's place) is gone. Buzz's GPS is back on his wrist.

From 2 to 3 (trailer), Woody's arm is back to normal after having been lopsidedly stitched by Andy and/or his Mom.

They only made them in the first place to promote the movies and/or toys. they dont air them anymore because their done promoting the original toy story.

I wouldn't be too surprised though if we see new shorts pop up within the next year. a huge marketing campaign is planned to promote Toy Story 3.

That does make sence though but I was wondering why they couldn't make TS into a full blown TV show. I as a 13year TS fan would love to see new TS treats for Toy Story 3.
