PorcelainGeisha Completely agreed with you! All the ney variations of bellydance for me it doesnt mean nothing and i dont like it. It DOESNT mean that i wanna that this new styles destroyed. I just dont like it. I think that gothic, tribal and this one are a modernation of the traditional art. Ancient bellydance is to explore your body softy and NOT so agressive and you have to bring your emotions out... not like that ones i think... peace

Ariellah is the best!!! and she is kind of right about the dance... By conecting to the destructive side of ourselves is easier to control it because (ironically) the people that always say that they couldn't do bad things or never get angry at the last moment they explode and kill someone (it happens) and people that know and accept this natural part of ur instincts can control it at some point. Everything depends on us. I think =)

I got this DVD because, like I said, I need it my life! IT'S SO AWESOME!!! Definitely not for beginners, unfortunately because their is some significant layers and muscle control but don't let that stop you. It's badass.

Honestly, I was never a huge fan of Ariellah until I saw this choreography. It's fantastic, and I've got a huge new respect for her as a dancer. Dear Lord, she's got some muscle control and terrific body awareness.
