Hey, i also run vista through boot camp on my 2.4ghz 2gb ddr3 unibody, i have many problems, like my browser crashes while viewing flash content (ex. youtube etc.) if i use the trackpad when the vids are playing, vlc hangs with videos and mp3s in the same fashion, and if i want to play counterstrike source, i need to use an external mous and then eventually it still ruins my gaming since the keyboard starts lagging and slowing down...obviously driver issues. has this happened to any one else?
i have the 2.26ghz macbook and i just installed this with Crossover, and it doesnt start! it says the graphics specs dont meet min requirements. BUT I DO!!
hey yours seems pretty smooth, i played it on my macbook unibody 2.4 4GB ram it kinda lags when u get to the spaceship part, im playing it on mac, not windows, any ideas?
err, it just annoys me a little, i only install boot camp for its games (i have to reinstall spore no on it [thanks for showing me the results ^^ ]) i wonder how many people would stick with windows if people actually coded games for mac. Sheesh, i really hope a huge mac update comes out with the actual mac version of spore. :D
well, actually, no, the mac version is a good emulation of the windows spore, which runs fine, but as i said, it's emulating windows to do it. So i hope they will update the mac version now, to the real mac version, so i can play with some more eye candy, and see creatures smaller than trees
hey dude im getting a used macbook, but I will only have 1300 by the end of summer. My question is wether i should get the 2.4 ghz or the 2.0 with apple care, do you think the 2.4 would be worth the lack of protection. (and im using it mostly for gaming and such) ; )
i love my 2.4 macbook. with the 2.4 you obviously get a slightly faster processor, bigger hard drive i believe and also an illuminated keyboard (which i love now i have it, it makes the keys really stand out. its hard to explain and in the dark its obviously excellent)
hello could you tell me, is spore really playable? i am thinking about either getting this, or the previous gen macbook pro, as i dont have 2000 to blow on a notebook.
i actually wonder how these new machines handle windows by bootcamp? does the trackpad work as good as in leopard? does it run flawlessly? etc.. it would be really nice if you could make a vid on these.. thanks
is this on high settings?

I have some questions if you want to anwser:
- at what resolution were you playing? full native 1280x800?
- level of details in the game? high or middle?
- why don't you use spore on osx? it performs badly under the mac partition than in the windows one?

THANK YOU!!!
I've been looking for answers!
I'm thinking about getting a new MacBook (and by thinking, I mean I just need the money to pay for it xD) and I want to play Spore.
My current computer is about 3 years old, and a Dell Dimension model... it's not very sufficient for Spore, and plus, I've got college coming up.
Is the MacBook really "All that and a bag of chips"? It seems from my research that it is!
