But the Corvette is a very very fast and capable car, so is the Porsche, I don't think one or the other is much better in performance. Also in a 22km circuit the driver is going to make a big difference (look at Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in the same car around the same track) Over here in Europe the prices of the two cars are almost the same, I know what I would buy, in the US it's a different story.

I love how the guy in the ZR-1 waves "bye-bye" to the GT! Both amazing cars and I would be thrilled with either one. Having owned two Porsche's (944 and 928) and a Z-06 (C-5)....I love them all. Still, I'd take the ZR-1 over anything else when it comes to "bang for the buck." But the Corvette is a very very fast and capable car, so is the Porsche, I don't think one or the other is much better in performance. Also in a 22km circuit the driver is going to make a big difference (look at Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in the same car around the same track) Over here in Europe the prices of the two cars are almost the same, I know what I would buy, in the US it's a different story.

Oh.. and lets keep in mind, with those numbers the Ferrari has near 80 less horsepower, and is naturally aspirated, compared to the SC the vette needs... Ferrari>Chevy
