Not because you get saved does it mean you are perfect his grace is new every morning. You are human before anything else and yes you do sin even after being saved... now sinning without guilt, a true christian cant do it. God demands that tithes and offerings be paid into the storehouse (church) so that His word will be spread. .He has expenses going throughout the world to preach the gospel and expenses for his program. Salaries, utilities, bank payments, production costs, etc, but he also writes books and has income from those. God blesses the faithful and doesn't want his children in rags.

Luke: 6:24, Jesus was speaking on being corrupt with riches which the disciples were prohibited from, since their missions were to introduce the gospel throughout the land, so the message would spread. He told them to take no money, for God would supply their needs. That would humble them and keep their faith growing. James 5:1 Read James 4:13-5:6.

Joel Osteen doesn't draw a salary, his income is solely derived from books and media and he even uses that for causes too. It's not wrong to have wealth. It's a reward for being good at something. Jesus said it might lead to corruption but in reality there are more corrupt poor people than rich people. Money isn't the root of all evil, envy is.

@Herc2770 God never said He didn't want His children rich. Consider Job, who lost everything including his health and was in great pain, but he never cursed God. He kept his faith in God. In the end, God gave him 10 xs more than he lost. What God doesn't want is for riches to pervert the mind, thus falling into sin. As for Timothy reference, that is for those who do fall into temptation, but some folks have more will power to resist satan's temptations. Jesus didn't need income. God provided.

Luke: 6:24, Jesus was speaking on being corrupt with riches which the disciples were prohibited from, since their missions were to introduce the gospel throughout the land, so the message would spread. He told them to take no money, for God would supply their needs. That would humble them and keep their faith growing. James 5:1 Read James 4:13-5:6.

@Herc2770 There were no expenses then as there is now. The disciples had direct contact with Jesus and He trained them. They were the beginning of spreading his word, therefore He told them to take no purse or food, but rely on God to provide on their way, so that they'd always keep Him in mind, to build up their faith and so that God could bless those who gave to them. Riches CAN corrupt, but not all people will be corrupt by it. Willpower is the key. Job was NOT a shephard. He inherited.

God rewarded Jesus when He ascended to be with Him. Benny also gives to charities and to other ministries. Being rich doesn't automatically corrupt. Joel Osteen doesn't draw a salary, his income is solely derived from books and media and he even uses that for causes too. It's not wrong to have wealth. It's a reward for being good at something. Jesus said it might lead to corruption but in reality there are more corrupt poor people than rich people. Money isn't the root of all evil, envy is.

I have a lot of respect for God's ministers, but their lifestyle of total reckless
affluence is highly questionable. Jesus had no place to hide His head, had no
custom-made dress, no chariot to travel, but He was like one of his disciples.
We may put blame on the devil but a lot of blame has to go to our reckless
behaviour. All prosperity preachers are faced with a great challenge at this
hard times, and they may understand the calling for suffering now.

Prophets have been called by God to speak for Him and to be His messenger. God speaks to these men who are commanded to reveal to mankind His plan of salvation, His will, His character, and His truth. A prophet testifies of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, that He died for our sins, they preach of repentance, condemnation, judgment, sin, and eternal torment. These are the things that prophets of God do, but that Benny Hinn as a false prophet does not.
