This is good to know. We are facing the very same here. In fact, after the 2008 crash, and the subsequent pay cuts, we have yet to see ANY raises yet being given...and I work for a fortune 500 parent company. Any 'raises' now are on a merit basis, this includes the pay cuts they took away even though I have a written agreement which states I am to make 'x' amount per hour.
