anime is part of the Japanese culture, why does it matter if non-asian girls love it too? There are, admittedly irritating people, but let people do what they want if it doesn't hurt anyone! And japan's manga has been hugely influenced by European features, so I wouldn't worry too much. I would just consider it admiration for Japanese culture. Now, please, can we watch this dance without moans and comments? I bet it took a lot of courage and practice! :)

@iSpudnik Hi! Thanks for commenting. Please understand that this happened when I was 16 (I'm 20 now). I didn't go to Japan just for anime. It was for a film project. It was fun and an experience. I was there to improve my Japanese and at this time, I thought it would be fun to do the dance (which is quick) in different parts that I was visiting for the memories. I only dressed up once for Akihabara and Harajuku which was fine. Please realize people grow, it's been almost 4 years. :)

I think the fact that a character like Patricia Martin (lucky star) exist pretty much tells the world that anime is only a very very SMALL part of Japanese culture and daily life.
