You can press hold down when you use a lift to not go as high. And the walker is simple, walk up to him till you see the missile appears, stop and jump straight up and hold down so when you land your ducking and the walker jumps over you. Easy. The part that actually ruined my life and makes me hate this level was figuring out I had to press up to "enter" the Falcon to exit the level. I remember killing myself and trying to find a different path through this level because I always hit a dead end

this was a great level =), there are a lot of challenges, and the level not is very large. I'm not think was a bad level design. The games today has very easy challenges, ingame help, and some more stupidities for retarded people. Don't forget why you are playing games... if they don't represents a real challenge, can be very bored... anyway... good review, this level make me suffer when I was a child xD

It's definately tough level. Drove me nuts as a kid too. The key to it though is utilising the other characters. Firstly Leia jumps higher and further than luke and Han, so she is the best of parts of the level. Most notibly the start, after the first elevator, land on the upper platorm, and she can make the jump to the next platform which has the turret gun on no probs. The Mech at the end is a real ass i agree. Best to duck in front and let it jump over you.

@lastmarine(continued)....What pissed me off the most as a kid, was the first time i got to the millenium falcon, i couldn't work out how the fuck to get into it? In Mos Eisley all you do is run up to the MFalcon and you enter it automatically, but here you have to press UP exactly under the footramp? Why change the controls?? FUCK YOU!!! FIrst two times I got there (after dying god knows how many times) I ended up killin myself cos I thought i had gone the wrong way cos i couldnt enter the ship

I played this game when I was 9 years old.

Every level is fucking hard, but this deathstar level made me go nuts.

But I love star wars and I was playing games 24/7 and I managed to beat this piece of crap level.

It took me like 200 lives to do this by far the hardest shit I ever played.

I totaly agree with everything what is said in this movie.

I remember this game as a kid too. I actually finished it as a kid; something I doubt I would have the patience for today.

I also remember Empire Strikes Back for NES being hard too. On Hoth, if you didn't get a jump right you ended up at the bottom of the level (I would just start over).

I couldn't get passed Dagoba though. I remember this part where you climb a tree and have to jump (fly) really far to the left...could never do it.

Hey, i just randomnly looked at this and you made it over a year ago, but to beat it, you have to use Leia and Han. Leia jumps farther, and Han can kill the stormtrooper faster, so you can beat it without taking damage.

i completed this game when i was 3. this is definitely the hardest level but its still doable.

i used to believe leia's skirt made her float and jump further. there was no statistically significant difference seen following analysis of 273 consecutive jumps from luke and 287 from leia. sorry just kidding, been writing a paper all day.

Just in the realm of constructive criticism, in my opinion you're trying too hard re: swearing/strange things. For example, must you say the characters are farting their way up a lift? The fart sound was a little juvenile too.

On the other hand, I prefer my humour a little dry, whereas I've noticed Americans prefer it more obvious.

You know what has more spikes? The last castle before Bowser's castle in Super Mario World. You gotta ride the blocks around and not fall and the whole place is surrounded by spikes. There's also the underwater fortress from earlier in the game with tons of spikes. I had Star Wars for the Game Boy and it's the same game. Loved it because it was hard and I really forced myself to get past the annoying parts to keep going. I hate owning games I don't beat.

I've seen a stage with a lot of spikes in it. The 3rd Zero Virus stage in Megaman X5, the stage where X & Zero fight each other.  The WHOLE ENTIRE LEVEL was filled with spikes!
