I have one on the way, glad you like yours. I've never used an AFG so I was wondering.
On your EOTech, can you mount that further forward where the front is over the delta ring? I'm just curious. I'm looking to buy an EOTech soon and was looking at the XPS3-0 but just want to weigh my options.
@ghillisniper300 I've seen them mounted over the delta ring. From what I've seen thats why they have the slight raise in the front so they can go over the delta rings. Honestly if I had it to do again, I would probably buy one of the XPS once because they are a lot smaller and run on CR123 batteries with would be the same as the Surefire flashlights making it easier to just have one extra kind of batteries. Then again, I do live the tan on this EOTech!
@funnychevy Thanks for the compliment man. I appreciate the compliment. I love my EOTech and the color makes it even better in my mind. I'm sure you will like it.
@PkwyDrive13 Can't put anymore rail covers on the rail. Those holes on the end of the rails are QD mounts and therefore the rail covers from Magul that I used don't work.
@skate4ever214 I'll preface this by saying I've never airsoftd, but from what I've seen you in all honestly don't really need either. The AFG is great from controlling the recoil impulse and driving the gun to the next target and stuff. The RVG is good, in my opinion of course, at bringing the gun up. Thanks for the compliment on the AR. I hope that info helps ya.
@EvilCardboard I haven't personally experienced any and I haven't heard or any. But I suppose there is always that risk if you shoot a lot of rounds in rapid succession. I have never melted anything, even with some 120 round mag dumps. I imagine it still didn't get hot enough to melt even with that.
@jesus20248 I'm sure both are good. I am going to go with a side mount since I have the AFG. The under is a good choice too. I know Surefire makes a vertical grip with the light build in.
@jesus20248 Will do. I actually have thought about a tactical light and I think I've decided. I think I'm going to go with the Surefire 6PX Tactical. I like the idea of the G2X with the variable power, but I think the ability to go to go strait to the 200 lumens instead of having to click twice is better for a tactical situation.

Are there any melting problems with magpul products?

@newshootersjourney Maybe if it's resting on a gas block could it melt?
EvilCardboard 2 months ago
@EvilCardboard I know that for their back up sights they specifically say to not put them on the gas block. I imagine for the melting.

I like the idea of a 200 lumen light also, not sure if a side mount is good or a straight mount under the rail?
