Got this in a 5-dollar 4 pack of fantasy-adventure movies from Walmart (they were available at Target too though). I watched it with my sister, and though it's not the MOST exciting movie, the price was well worth the value. Solid enough plot, good scenery, and pretty decent acting. Much better than spending $10 at the theaters anyway!

It's funny that the POTC music is in this trailer, because the ship that they are using (with the yellow rails) is the Lady Washington, the same ship that was in "Curse of the Black Pearl". That time it was the "Interceptor". :)

Sorry, but I prefer by FAR the other version made, with James Purefoy as Blackbeard and Mark Noble as Israel Hands....The pirates in THIS movie are not realistic enough, too clean, their teeth all nice and white, too smooth...nay, that be far from what they really AARGH... :) And taking the music from POTC..... naah.aah...I looked til the end to see if it was gong to be better... well.. lemme put it that way, THIS version I shall not buy...

No, I don't think so - at least I've only found an official trailer. But you can rent it. I rented it and then I bought it. The price has gotten very reasonable on it.
