love it very much! best rendition ever! so much feelings and emotion, lucky the wife of Arnel. Why I never met you before?we've been of the same age! born in 1967. Way to go Arnel! I will support you forever!
Do you see Jonathn Cain - ( 2:42) it is as if he himself is being touched by Arnel's singing. I can tell he has the GBS... Love the accoustic guitar - I seldom see Neal do this. He should do it more often. Then to top it off --- I am melting on the last song.
i was so nervous while recording this coz my battery was already flashing..i thought it would quit on me...but there's a god!! i was so happy when i captured the whole thing..except for the intro, my camera was off that time and i took chances to turn it on and record this...i'm so proud! lol
wow...this blew me away again. I became a fan of journey right when Arnel came in. But Why Can't This Night Go On Forever always been one of my personal favourites...glad they finally play it live! Arnel nails it in his own way...awesome. He has a very strong voice!!!
Neal and Schon go a long way. It is as if they are brothers who disagreed bitterly on their inheritance. Arnel is the catalyst. However, SP might have given up on his singing so Neal admittedly should look for someone to continue the legacy of journey.
If not for the shrieks of the audience (which is good since it's a sign of appreciation) this video sounds like a recording. It catches both the emotion and the pathos of the singer. Add that to the beauty of the melody and lyrics, this video is magical. The rendition of these old classic is superb!
Kudos to Journey and Mr. Pineda. Your music is food for the soul.
Patiently was the first song Perry and Schon wrote together in 1978. Released in the Infinity album. Perry was a newbie then and just hanging around w/ Neal when he heard Neal playing the melody in his guitar. Thus, a beautiful song was born.
