its not about being a communist or being an activist. its about doing what you can for your planet to save it from human corruption. holding up signs isn't just about that, its sending a message to other people.
They can't just throw in themselves and wreck or destroy stuff like that.
that's why its name is "GREEN PEAAAAAAAAACE!!!!!!!!"
if actions speak louder than words? take action instead of holding signs. greenpeace doesnt do much other than hold signs. you dont have to be militant. slash tires on logging vehicles, sit in tree's, clean up trash, recycle, throw that stuff onto whaling ships like sea shepherd does. i support greenpeace but they need to do something than hold signs.
In the Philippines, to be a supporter of the GReenpeace is regarded as being a communist. That is disgusting. I want to help save the planet but I am afraid to do so. I may end up being a victim of summary execution.
Hello, while it is true that civil liberties here in the philippines are under constant attack from the state its still worthwhile to say that as an independent organization greenpeace is recognized by the government as part of a larger movement of non-government orgs that help advance issues that the gov't cannot readily respond to
Hi. I don't think Greenpeace is perceived as communist. They are not a political group, they are not anti-establishment though they push the government to go for stricter environement policies...
plus they advocate peace so i don't think you will be in any trouble.
