  • buster keaton gta

  • Well, sure he didn't have a stunt double. He was a stuntman. He didn't do a hell of a lot of acting in these movies. Just: Look stressed. Do the stunt. Look stoic.

  • Loved the clip, but the comments shouldn't have been placed in the middle of the screen. Can you redo it???

  • Buster's funny inside joke - the cop looks and acts like Chaplin. Very clever.

  • @drvinnievegas i thought the same thing--looks exactly like chaplin

  • there´s something wrong at 0:27... the open legs just disappear

  • Please remove stupid comments.com

  • those were the days...

  • Was that cop supposed to look like Charlie Chaplin?

  • Jackie chan is the best stuntman ever, but nice work.

  • @blacklite911 ....no,buster keaton is a better stuntman than jackie chan......in fact jackie chan has even borrowed gags from buster keaton

  • @shaqpopcorn34 yea, jackie borrowed from keaton anyone who comes after you doing the same job will borrow from their predecessor, thats a given. But still, Jackie is just better and did things bigger and in more varied locations. Its a matter of opinion of course. I give tons of props to Keaton for being the founder of filmed stunts and such, but to me, jackie took the torch and ran with it.

  • @blacklite911 ....you are way off....apparently you dont know buster keatons work....he has risked his life to a far greater degree than jackie chan, and is more entertaining..his stunts are better, more entertaining and more dangerous...0% chance that jackie chan is a better stuntman than buster keaton....none whatsoever

  • Thanks for sharing this! Somehow I had never managed to see this before, and you're absolutely right, it was simply amazing (and funny!). Not for nothing do they refer to this period (the 1920s) as the time "When Comedy Was King."

  • um yeah. thanks for telling me this is incredible. retard.

  • I heard a story about buster keaton: he was making a film somewhere and he broke his neck in some stunt but he didin't notice it first :D and this one is amazing :DD

  • @KatsuDe Yes that was for Sherlock Jr., he had about 70,000 gallons of water pour down on him, and he had a few headaches over the years, but it was 10 years before he went to the doctor and found out he'd broken his neck and never knew it. We should all be so lucky.

  • AGREED! Why not put your god damned comments off to the bottom, or as annotations so people can fucking turn them off. All they do is get in the way of the great action.

So learn from your shitty mistakes.

  • i really doubt that the same guy who dared having a 2 ton wall fall around him with only inches around him to spare would be afraid of a motorcycle stunt. honestly, this guy was fearless.

  • Solo el podia salir ileso d algo asi.

  • Stop Camera. A great camera trick.

  • @nerdflanders8710 Yep :) And they used camera tricks. Shoot slower, and move too slower, when watching it´s looks faster. And sometimes shoot backwards etc. But Buster is the best.

  • Beginning at 0:26 "Buster" is actually animation.

  • Actually, you're wrong! The frame rate might make it look that way, but watch a better quality version and you'll see that there is no doubt he is not substituted by any animation! Buster would never have needed to back then!

  • nope he did all his stunts just like jackie chan as a matter of fact buster keaton is jackie chan's idlo because he did all of his own stunts.

  • @torchkit You may be right, but I doubt it.

  • genius!!!

  • I don't understand how he could plan everything in detail like that, it all seemed so simple to him. He must have had a pretty high iq.

  • @IrishN00B

True. But he started doing stunts at 18 months old and began perfiorming on stage with his parents when he was only 3 years old. In fact, his father used to get into trouble for child abuse. Later in life he explained that he could do the very difficult falls and other stunts only because he started so young.

Wikipedia says he was the greatest actor-director in the history of movies and the 21st greatest male actor of all time. Personally I think he's better than that !!

  • I love Buster Keaton! :)

  • The best , better than the Great Escape jump !!!!! RIP Keaton & McQueen !
