I just discovered this band today: Why does EVERYONE keep comparing them to Joy Division, Magnetic Fields, Jesus and Mary Chain, etc. Sure, they obviously sound similar, but they aren't copying anything. There are plenty of bands that are influenced by such bands as well. I'm not saying this band is magnificent, I'm just shocked at all the hate they receive for attempting to "copy" the classics.
