people, movie trailers use screams that aren't even the actresses own screams, hell, sometimes they use screams from other movies. I don't know why you guys are bitching about dumb stuff, movie trailers do this ALL the time. One of the mirror's tv spots used Paris's scream from House of Wax, MBV 3D used screams from the Black Christmas trailer, and so on. It's not that surprising if they did that with this trailer.

The original Prom Night has a totally different set-up and plot than this one. There was not suppose to be any comparsion between the two movies. The only thing that is the same in the two movies is the title of the movie. I do like the other Prom Night as well but just so you know, this isn't a remake of it.

Well,check it on wikipedia,many slasher movies like Halloween,Friday the 13th,Black Christmas and Prom night have remakes,not many slasher movies are made now,most of them were made in 1980s...

I really liked this movie, but it wasn't SCARY. =/
They showed too much of the murderer's point of view, and everyone died pretty much the exact same way... The trailer's a LOT scarier than the actual movie is.

the movie is not the most scariest, but its a good movie to watch, there are way worse horro/thriller movies outhere, but yea, the trailer is much scarier.... but i like the outcome of the movie it was good, not best, but good:) an the main character dana, she cute, so it made the movie better to watch hahaahha
