  • Very cool! I saw him perform this comedy routine in 1983, I think, when it was part of Elvira's Knotts Scary Farm live show during Halloween. Fun to see it again!

  • I met him in the '80's and saw his show. Funny guy.

  • freakin' hysterical......can't see through the tear's ......omg!

  • This guy is just way too funny! Love this act!

  • This guy is hilarious.

  • He was funnier yet in his role on Seinfeld where he intimidated Kramer and made him run down the street, leaving the furniture he was watching for Elaine. LMAO!

  • This is why I love YouTube!! An unforgettable classic!! I still say some of this stuff too and always brings a chuckle!!

  • i love this guy!!!

  • it was missy

  • the lyrics to that song are beautiful...especially the part about the books.

"mm, Barbara, you smell like warm grass."

  • My friends and I still quote lines from this show. John Paragon was hilarious.

  • He used to make appearances on "Welcome to the Fun Zone," too. I was just a little kid at the time. I couldn't find any info on him (and almost thought I'd imagined him) until the "UHF" DVD came out and Weird Al talked about him in the commentary track.

  • Was that Tracey Gold?

  • I believe it was her. Could never remember her name. :)

  • Yes! It was Tracey, Carol Seaver from 'Growing Pains (1985-1992). This must be before 1984, even before 1983, because she looks about 12 or 13. That would make me about 9 years old.

  • I watched this 1 million times in the 80s. I had it taped on a VHS tape. Love it.

  • He was Jomby on Pee Wee's Playhouse.

  • Ha he did performances at Knott's Scary Farm and he was HILARIOUS in the 90s!

  • OMG, I SO REMEMBER THIS!!! Way funny! I don't know how you found this!

  • it works 5 imes out of ten!!!! So funny!

  • LOL!!! i remember watching this as a kid on HBO in the 80's. i think it was called the paragon of comedy, funny shit.

  • Frickin Classic. Thanks for uploading!

  • A lost classic! I remember John Paragon doing Ramone Azteca on various shows. Back in the early 80s, ABC briefly had a show called the Half Hour Comedy Hour with John Paragon doing Ramone on there. Also in 1985-1986 was a syndicated show called FTV. It was a dumb show in which the cast would lip sync real songs and do funny versions of videos, but the highlight every week was a segment called "Club Ramone" with Ramone Azteca introducing various musicians, and Paragon was so funny as Ramone.

  • DANG! i remember when i was in my teens and how i would watch this with my bro. I wanna see him in all his "Breather"(from the Elvira horror flicks)skits...he's hella-funny!!!
