  • so are you an oly lifter playing with body building/powerlifting, or a wanne be body builder who happens to be a pretty good oly lifter?

  • @str94100 mh good question! I will say all of the above! On Mondays I'm a powerlifter, on Tuesdays a bodybuilder, on Wednesdays an O'lifter, on Thursdays I'm an explosive strength maniac, on Fridays I'm a basketball player and on weekends I'm on crutches, drunk and pissed off at the whole world cause the gains are never coming fast enough!!!!! But on mondays I usually start over.

  • @chezkenny sounds like a damn fine answer

  • OMG UR FOARM IZ TERRIBLE!!!1!!1! haha jk man you're a fucking MONSTER.

  • Do you have access to squat racks? What are those platforms under the weight you are using. Yes you are a beast and I am not trying to give advice I am just wondering why you are using those platforms. Compared to you I am a geek. Please tell answer my question Chez.

  • @watsby7 The rack is a must for heavy squat but none is needed for dynamic lifts. The blocks are to start from a high position. Because you don't accelerate from the floor, the acceleration should take place after the bar has passed the knees. Furthermore it doesn't allow to take advantage of the eccentric portion, thus working on starting strength, or the ability to transition from a relaxed muscle to maximal contraction in the shortest time possible.

  • don't the push jerks hurt your neck?? or am i just a pussy

  • @nt4life If you catch it on the traps it's no problem really

  • need to lock out those jerks ma man

  • Good job! Keep.it up. My favorite exercise is The Deadlift. I hate squats. But nice work.

  • POP! goes my shoulder

  • an ox has broken into the gym

  • i've been checking out videos of olympic lifts to add to my workout..and these helped so much. appreciate the vids man

  • awesome your a freakin beast

do you compete in oly lifting

  • you are mother fucking alpha, dude. very motivating.

  • Thank You!

  • nice lifts man, kick ass song too...

    love olympic lifts

  • thanks

  • Chezkenny your are a fucking machine man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Your videos are very impressives.

You are without doubts a complete sport-man.

Are you still training so hard (olympic lifts,powerlifting....)

    Congratulations from Spain!!!!!!!!!

  • Gracias! I'm still training of course. I need to post more vids soon.

  • what accelorometer do u use and where can i get it? i could only find airlink and its not as good i think

  • I use the Powerlyzer from Tendosports (or tendo unit) I think there is another one called micro muscle lab from another brand. It's simple and it does its job. I've had it for about 5-6 years now and it makes dynamic training phases a lot more fun.

  • good lord!! that 400lb squat was just thrown up. excuse my ignorance, but what are you training for?...

  • Good workout, looks like fun.

  • hey! have 2 say man u do good Job!!..keep Trening..

  • dianabol? what are you using? please tell me i want to cycle for O lifting!

  • lol you're funny

  • Im curious, did you bulk up because of oly weightlifting, or did you get bigger from taking supplements or protein?

  • I bulked up from doing basic strength workout and eating in large quantities!

  • How large? You don't eat every 3 hours do ya? I hate that. Fucking messes up my schedule.

  • where do you by that thing that cord thats on the bar to see how fast you pull the bar?

  • How many days a week do you do deep knee bends in your training? I'm icing my knees at the moment with patellar tendonitis after practicing the olympic lifts 4 times a week! Your knees look in good shape!

  • well something is wrong with your form then.. Don't bounce at the bottom and shift the weight to the middle of the foot, not toward the toes. Rarely go heavy. Focus on speed, form and power. Don't do balistic movements such as plyometrics or olympic weightlifting on concrete or other hard floor.

I don't do "deep in bends"... I do squat once a week.

  • just do squats ATG and your knees will get in better shape.

  • awesome vid man, uve got massive! hows your vertical jump now?

  • No idea, I can still dunk but it's hard to jump with 45lbs more

  • excellent pulls and push presses! you can squat a lot more than 400 lbs, though, eh? keep on truckin' bro i will put up some vids within the next few months.

  • Yes of course. 400lbs was just 6 sets of 3 dynamic reps at the end of workout. Thanks

  • you should consider moving those stands further apart before you crush your forearms

  • it's all about perception. It's totally safe like that.

  • looking beastly bro

  • thanks bro

  • do you train just with heavy load or sometime you go less but faster and more rep

  • Yes I do train with lighter loads earlier in the training cycle. But I don't necessarily do more reps. I do 3-6 most often but I'd rather do more sets. Like during this workout I did 4 sets of 3 reps for the snatch pulls and then 6 sets of 3 for the squat.

  • It is awesome how much strength you have gained in the last year or so. Great job!

  • Thank you. Yes I've been exclusively conentrating on powerlifting during that time perriod. And the o'lifts are greatly impacted even though I haven't even done any. I need to work my way up, but I'm sure I can see an increase of 50lbs+ on each o'lift.

  • amazing strength chez!

    whats the song called?

  • Thank you. The song is Juelz Santana "the second coming"

  • mate i really appreciate the increase in videos, helps keep the motivation up :)

  • Hehe! Thanks, I will try to post more often from now on.

  • super ultra great power..

  • Thank you

  • snatching and power cleaning from blocks requires more explosive strength doesnt it?

  • yes cause you start from a deadstart. No energy from the eccentric part like from the hang and no momentum like from the floor. However if you do a lot of blocks work, you must pay attention not to "stop" or slow down at the knees before the final acceleration.

  • niiiiice!! good work man!

  • thank you

  • freaky

  • thank you

  • Good to see some more O'lifting footage.

    You still competing in O'lifting?

What's ya best snatch and CJ lately?

  • No competition. I haven't done the full lifts forever cause I can't really drop the weights... But judging from the highpulls I should be able to snatch this bar. I will work my way up to a power snatch and power clean PR's.
