hey dude to the torch heelys grind plates wear out fast? and can you get replacements?

It wears out fast if you grind on curbs without a LOT of wax. But you can grind on coping and rails forever without them wearing out.

Nah - you can't replace them (unfortunately).

Pretty impressive, I knew heelys were bein used in parks but didn't really know ppl were takin it further, Do you have grind plates on your shoes? Or is it the wax?

I've skateboarded about maybe, ten years, and rollerbladed a bit but had to quit cuz it hurt my ankles. I dont think I could keep my balance doin that with heelys haha.

Yeah there's plate on the bottom of some models appropriately called "Grindplates".

This is a pretty old vid now. We're learning more and more about the non-limits of Heeling!!

If you get Heelys, I recommend something with the large "Mega-Wheels". They're more stable.

You have to get ones with grindplates - we use "Torch" or "Evolution" models.

Depends. Its not QUITE there yet, but it definitely gotten a LOT more advance than kids skating around in a mall. And you're right. It IS "skating" - called Hybrid Skating.
