  • Exactly! My mother doesn't understand that not being able to prove Gods existence makes it even more irrational to believe in him.

  • @ConanTheRepublican even if you did it of your own freewill, you still would have needed influence to come to the conclusion there is a God. Plus you couldn't just teach yourself any religion you would have to learn from other people.(unless you created your own religion) your own beleifs are fine your argument is flawed

  • Great video!

@candyman0002 the first seed came through evolution which is as close as any hypothesis can be to be proven. The first life forms came from the correct combination of amino acids and other substances which is also as close as possible to proven fact as it has been recreated to form life. do research before asking stupid questions.

  • dear athiests, i have a question. Can a plant grow without seeds? If it can't who made the first one?

  • No, dumb ass...my parents did NOT "teach me God". I found God ALL ON MY OWN. Your thesis is BOGUS. It is a gross generalization that the only way people come to God is by being "taught it". I ENCOUNTERED the living God all on my own. It is a TANGIBLE experience that YOU DON'T experience, because you're mind is simply closed to it. You like to think you're intellectual, etc., but you sound like someone who should be in a freaking RUBBER ROOM!!! Not impressive in the least.

  • @ConanTheRepublican You're saying you found God on your own? You discovered God? Oh, please... You're the dumbass for saying that. You have been influenced by other people your whole life, in so many ways. If it wasn't for that influence you wouldn't be sitting in your room trolling the internet. You people say that atheists like to think they're intellectual because you use God as an excuse to remain ignorant.

  • @ngpaes1 Excuse me, but are you every bit of 14 years old, or WHAT? Really! My discovery of God was intensely personal, and NO ONE "made me do it". Who the hell do you think YOU are to tell ME what my experience of God is? I came to the conclusion of Existence thru my own aggressive reasoning and logic, sister. Beginning with HARDCORE atheism, then agnosticism, then belief. Read your own post BACK to yourself--slowly--and embrace your COMPLETE and UTTER madness. You belong in a rubber room, girl

  • I don't agree with you, but I respect you.

  • I like you.

  • If the first hypothesis is to not believe in god, then why have people worshiped 'greater entities' for as long as we can historically remember?

  • There is one god who created the seven skies and the earth and he is the unique in creating all creatures. and you all must do worship to him.

my English is bad but this is a bit of Islamic blief in what God do

I am sorry I haven't much time at this moment . this is a gift for you !

  • agnosticism and atheism are not the same. my view of agnosticism is that there's not way of knowing either way so there's no point of arguing either position. that's totally different from the atheist who will persist that religion is total poppy-cock. in my view, the very question of god is poppy-cock because it has no implication whatsoever in our lives here on earth.

  • Good video. Very insightful indeed.

  • This clip didn't really say anything. Just a one person view based on a one person perspective. Certainly not God's view, no ? Part of the 'Christian's' view is first coming to understanding that our individual views are flawed. From there, that starting point, a quest for truth can be started. However, many don't care to take that step, but rather relish their own personal idiom's and dogma's as truth - like this video, where the truth is his summation of his own observations and experience.

  • In our currently world Christians are seen as the psycho horror tales. Unfortunately you'll find a lot are not. In fact, a lot are willing to talk as long as the person inquiring is willing to share balanced opinion. Richard Dawkins does address some important problems with religion, but his book is more a case of I hate religion so should you more than I disagree with religion because...

  • Thank you, just thank you. You practically spoke a lot of things that i knew but failed to practice. You also schooled me on issues/ word concerning rational thought that I did not know. Finally an atheist I agree with.

No, i am not being sarcastic. I'm Christian.

  • truely a religion for those who don't have a meaning in life and were probably raped by the catholic church

  • The music was annoying, I had trouble hearing you but other than that this video was great. Nice work :)

  • Religion people are children, they can't think independently, Atheism is the social evolution of independent thought and intelligence

  • There really is nothing to brag about being an atheist. After I saw the video "Top Ten Reasons Why the Bible is Repulsive" I learned how stupid Christians are.

  • There are clear hints of what one might refer to as eternity present in the finite universe that can be perceived by the finite mind. Perhaps the most obvious is that truth is not relative. At least two absolute truths exist: One, that absolute objective truth exists, and two, that all notions, ideas, perceptions, etc can be doubted. These truths are logically irrefutable.

  • Eat five dried grams of psilocybin-containing mushrooms or smoke DMT, then come back and re-think this whole God hypothesis out.

  • He is a very smart young man and not indoctrinated or conditioned...yet.

  • I <3 being an atheist

  • we need proof and evidence that there are no talking donkeys.only then we can start to doubt mighty GOD

  • I loved your video and arguments. Except for the music, it was a little annoying and a distraction to what you were saying. But it could be that I'm just too old to enjoy it :).

  • That was refreshing.

  • Here is the argument: All of those gods you mentioned are all the same God. God decided to reveal himself in his true being to only the Jews. Other nations recognized God through the natural beauty around them. They did not know his name, but the Jews did. He is I Am. He is the being who is. Look at the world around you. Now back to me. Now back at the world. Now back to me. All the plants originally came from a seed. The seed needed to be planted in the ground. Someone or something must have p

  • @LinkofKoholintIsland. This comment is out of place. 10 points for trying to be original by following an internet troll fad? Or -5 points for essentially spamming an intelligent video???? /o\ (I throw you over board)

  • @LinkofKoholintIsland

One can bring in the good old arguement that if the universe is considered so complex it needs a creator then that creator will be even more complex & will have needed a creator. As for him always existing, something can not come from nothing & that arguement is a cop-out for rational logical thinking.

  • But the bible says....shit... I haven't read it but I'm sure it says something different than what you're saying.

  • @BrainInSkull

that made my day ! :)

  • not always true my family goes against everythin i believ i am alone in my religion i found God on my own, just got curious picked up a bible found a church and its the best thing that has ever happened:) NOT ARGUING just thought id share:)

  • you ever thought beyond the terms of man? No not like a god, but other that there is a fact multiple lines of existence in which you cross. There is one that I hypothesis that has the dimension of no time. As I see it, that sense a normal man where to go the speed of light in our dimension they would be in existence far into the future, a dimension of light. Sense we depend on this dimension as of so many others, that means when all the aspects that has time in it die.Leaving what?

  • Well said!

  • I think it's funny how when Atheists mention or show clips of Christianity, they always choose the hyper-active, super emotional groups of Christians. It makes them look ridiculous. Surely an Atheist is aware that there are thoughtful and intelligent groups of Christians. To not accept this is just ignorance. The intelligent Christians might not be correct, but they're sure a heck not all dumb.

  • @DanPrinMan There are also clips of Vetias48 and Togetherforpeace in this video, both Christians who I find intelligent and respectable.

I tried to include a range, both of emotionally reasoning Christians and logically reasoning ones, depending on the point being made at the time.

  • @DanPrinMan what would you have? showing people drinking coffee?

  • @DanPrinMan Is it a conincidence that when you fade away from fundamentalism, interlect grows..Keep on going that way and you may be free thinker on day. Tis what did me the WORLD of good.

  • @LondonCAFC

    Yes, "interlect grows".

    Nice.

  • @DanPrinMan That is so true. They need to pick out the most extreme of us to make them look better, or smarter, or whatever. But, no, Christians as a whole are not crazy, ranting, extremists.

  • @DanPrinMan Im pretty sure atheism is not ignorant. People who become atheist have critically thought it all.... Now it is very arrogant to say some one is entirely wrong. I am 99% atheist. I can not know the true answer but i feel the exist of God is as likey as my non-existence. Im sure I could tell you more about the bible then most Christians.

  • @DanPrinMan he had both in his clips. It's funny how you didn't notice. An intelligent Christian is an oxymoron, and your comment "sure a heck not all dumb"? Okay you are certainly an intelligent Christian.

  • Where did u get the idea that Chris/Christianity is a baseless assumption?

  • Where did u get the idea that Chris/Christianity is a baseless assumption?

  • Religions come and go, but God is eternal.

  • Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, this Is a known law of science. The big bang theory is also widely accepted in the world of science. Which for the most part is widely atheist. So how did this this particle with infinite mass, density, and energy get there? Was it always there? If so why is it so easy to believe that it was always there and not a god?

  • @DrTreverChase Because if there was a god, who created him?

  • I like this guy he knows what's up religion really is just a way to get people to do what you want people are scared of the unknown and they'll believe whatever you tell them they seek that comfort no matter what form it comes in

  • I can't understand what clutch says between 1:07 and 1:11. "and if they teach you to....... an accepted fact (i think).. anyone knows?

  • Keep up the great vids Clutch.

I follow your videos religiously... er... I mean I watch them atheistically? anyway I really like your channel.

  • Without a believe in God does not make sense as Belief means the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true. Therefore to have no belief is actually saying you have no psychological state in which you hold the proposition or premise of God to be true. Simply put you haven't made up your mind yet whether there is a God or not. It may sound cool but it doesn't make any sense

  • if anyone knows what is the name of the song.. pls reply to my message or pm. also great arguments clutch

  • @NeverPeace20 The music's now in the underbar so everyone can see.

It's "Put Your Hands Up" by Benny Benassi.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Atheism is meaningless and stupid

  • @TruthfulChristian

of course the man with the youtube account "TruthfulChristian" would say that

    respect other people's beliefs

  • @TruthfulChristian

    stop trollin

  • @TruthfulChristian nice oxymoronic name btw

  • If you want answer to God, pray about it, think about it... if God is real then he would want you to know. Then ask yourself and God what religion should I join.. Always be open to investigate and never close your mind. I'm mormon and I'm always looking into other people beliefs and have just recently been able to accept people beliefs and not be so upset when they don't believe the same as me. Its a wonderful feeling. And this video helps explain a lot for me.. thank you nice vid.

  • Liked this video, but the music is a tad distracting...

  • Very good! Wow, a real thinker!

  • doesn't the term atheism imply that there is no god? atheos - absence of gods.

i understand you don't want to offend people but you sound more like an agnosticist - btb the coolest viewpoint anyway...

  • The word itself combines "a" and "theism." The word theism specifically refers to the belief in a god, not the existence of one. So if you combine the "A", which means without, you get "Without a belief in God." Whether or not you believe in something is separate from the actuality of it's existence.

  • You dont know shit man

Many people leave ateism to become religious

  • @VhDVE

You mean babies and small children. You know that they did born as atheists?

Also it's funny because what I have seen many people are actually turning back to religion.

  • i just wish we could all abandon our groups and just find interest in becoming healthy minded people that can work together as one big group

  • like you said, there is no way to prove the exceptions. and though a huge amount of them are explainable (some still think the reflection of a camera flash is phenomena) , there are other very complex experiences that are so far off of rationality that those who learn to interact with the phenomena and more spend the rest of their lives advancing in that world, even if it means abandoning rationality & logic. these two worlds can only meet with peace, and that seems pretty logical.

  • i can totally understand not believing if there is no reason to that you can see. even though that has been the message all along, you forget about it with the majority of the aggressive ones in the public eye. but then again, loud noises always attract atttention

  • i wish more atheists were like you. you set a good example displaying smarts and respect. (unless this is just your professional side: to every profession,an unprofessional side). they are much more understandable and much more respectful and it makes me want to love you (but not force stuff on you).

  • the born thing.... i sure wish they could do tests on babies, but who knows, probably inhumane, as in, what would kids do growing up with no media or parental influence but basic necessity taken care of. or maybe a mute mother as a love source (i hear babies cant live without it) would they bother to look past the clouds?

  • im not saying follow the bible though! my conclusion is health of thought, balance of mind. no groups but one....we the people (after all we are all related) ...but in side note, i do find a lot of connections back to the bible in my study of minds

  • you mention fail at first hurdle. what ive learned, though im not saying its all truth, but mine, after my own thoughts of true cause of evil, was that the first mark is missed when man's ego is stronger than any type of belief whatsoever, even if non religious. but the trick to peace on earth is balance of mind, health in thought, which is not as easy as just being a nice person after what i have learned

  • ok, so i wondered, as i compared all of my findings to universal patterns as i went, if the true message of the bible was manipulated or mistaken. as i noticed in practice, that it wasn't: "do not do this because you must" but "do not do this because you will see..." i wondered if 'sin' had a different meaning then we thought. in modern definition, it means 'miss the mark'. and it just goes from there

  • i started off with logic as science was my first love. i had a flaw of perfectionism . since i was into psychology at the time, i eliminated it and many other things i found that commonly challenged humans. if i got jealous of someone, to me this was a weakness. i eliminated this. if i was envious, the same, eliminate. i notice i began to become more free and more confident. i noticed new interests and a growing, thriving life. i studied every change. i wondered...

  • psychology is the study of the mind. study, observation of systems is science. there are many things you can give thanks to , thanks to psychology. are you serious? psychology and neurology work together, psychology is an unbelievable contributor the understanding of people, it helps in advertising and it also goes hand in hand with sociology. hello!

  • your right about astrology and magic. but i am speaking about science. sociology is psychology of groups. the study of people is huge in understanding history and future history decisions. its very valuable. how can any humanity ignore the patterns of the people?

  • I said the study of behavior in groups is science while therapy is not science.

Tell me what unit of measurement is used in therapy? If you can't measure it and have someone else repeat the measurement it isn't science.

I'm not even saying therapy can't help some people but just call it what it is, philosophy. Sometimes just talking about your problems is helpful but when they start shocking people and cutting chunks of their brains out without any real scientific reasoning THAT is insane.

  • i was talking about psychology, or study of mental processes. im not talking therapy. i agree, i dont think therapy works either, although some good ones will suggest techniques that really work and are also advised by health officials. they are retested and have trackable and general predictable patterns.

  • there is brainwashing for all groups from all corners of the world of many topics that even have nothing to do with religion. just saying..... knowing what i know about many industries from working in many of them, we cant even trust our facts. only our own experiences can teach us.

  • the parent thing complies with only a percentage of god believers , small or big? but yes a percentage as many people believe in a god for different reasons

  • what about those who had parents who didn't preach god in the house, specifically, as my dad said, that he wanted us to experience a full adventurous life?

  • i wonder what then, is this epidemic in millions across the world, what is the cause of those who just wont let go of something so illogical besides the many influential reasons, but the tendency to ignore logic? i mean, many illogical traditions have died out. why not this here religion

  • i agree with everything your saying

  • I agree with everything your saying

  • A good and honest video. Thank you for

    posting it.

  • Very well spoken! And I honestly can say that i agree on every point.

Your video is now among my favourites.

    /S

  • Good point! Atheism is the only rational choice.

  • WOOT! I haven't seen one of your vids in a while, it was refreshing.

  • wow you are really full with yourself

    even your nick is ..-logy

    :D

  • Atheism: does not believe in "god"

Agnostic: We cannot know if there is a "god"

  • This is a really good video.

  • I was raised with loving parents who were not athiests or believers of God. I found the subject of religion interesting, I searched for answers and questions came and went. One day I spoke to Jesus as if he was real and he answerd my question and at the same time fulfilled my quest. I never heard of an athiest who met Christ for real.

  • There is no scientific way for it to happen so no, we have not met your dead guy who walked on water. I bet if you grew up in a different part of the country such as India, you would've saw the god Shiva or Vishnu. What I'm getting at here is that it is nothing but mere blind faith an hallucination.

  • Thanks for your reaction, like to add when I spoke to Jesus and he answerd I was not faithful in fact not even pleasant. When he spoke all I managed to utter was oh my God I didn't realise you were so real. Ha bet he never heard that before.

  • It was nothing but a simple hallucination.

  • RIGHT, what mushroom were you eating?

  • @Sticky1254 I bet if you grew up in a different part of the world, not "country", such as India, you would not be what you are now either . But that wouldn't disqualify YOUR stance, would it? ;)

    - a Christian from India

  • Exactly you Christians, God is not real oh and boxofthoughts Us British do not lead Atheism, if it wasnt for us British you woildnt be here you American!!! im not making fun of americans, you guys take God to far and in the mean time he isnt even real people who dont believe in god have a Higher IQ

  • As a American, I agree.

    Well said.

  • Exactly, Thank You :)

  • As a Faroese i don´t know what the fuck being american has to do with it.

  • Sorry, text was out of line, just read the post you were replying to. :) respect :)

  • liked the video, although disagree with the conclusions

but i must say if this guys name is really 'clutch' than he has the coolest name ever! God bless his parents for their superior name picking skills.

  • Atheism will rule this world because "god" is just some unproved bullshit!!! Thank you! I love this video.

  • Only a human can invent something out of nothing, with only a creative idea, the idea or assumption can only be proven correct or rational, when it can be tested, studied or experimented. Faith was one idea invented to explain something that was not understood, but given a made up reason, to satisfy the question, without proof.

  • so you're saying belief that the external world is real is not a rational belief?

there is simply is no way to test whether or not the external world is real or whether we're hooked up to the matrix

  • Why does it seem like atheism is being led by the British? Nation of Fools.

  • 'Cause we're smart.

  • Scandinavia as well!

  • I'd love to believe that... but we have some idiots here as well. Creationists for Christs sake... I was hoping it was just a Bible belt thing.

I actually laughed when I heard my friend ran in to a Creationist doing a meteorology degree at our university. I'd have thought that they would be somewhat limited by the scope of science they're willing to perceive.

  • agnostic much?

  • Yes, everything that exists is made by an maker. So invisible things too. Complexity isn't an happening of accident but by an even higher intelligence. Humans can only make things out of materials that already exsist (wood, plants, we can't make things that haven't existed before (animals, nature, air, water). It's only because we claim we have made things that we disregard and higher creator that created the other things.

  • Nobody said anything about the complexity of life happening by chance, and we don't reject the idea of a creator because of our ability to creat certain things we reject it because of our knowledge of the processes that create the animals, nature, air, water etc. the processes that give us an understanding of these events do not point to any sign of a creator

  • Create****

  • Everything in this world says there must be a god. Think of anything deeply, your body, nature, planets, the configuration of the body cells and the precision in the universe functionality, someone will finally say there must be a creator. after this will be their conclusion, they return to cancel all these evidences by asking themselves just a stubborn question which is completely wrong and cannot be interpreted by human mind. The question is: Who created god?"

  • smart kid. a+

  • yah whats the market value of the christian god? how is it better than all the thousands of other ones throughout history?

gods r manmade. period. cute fantasies yes, but "faith" in their existence? now cmon.. good video

  • episteme = knowledge

    gnosis = spiritual knowledge

    right?

  • Well if we as humans (most of us) already know that gods don't exist what makes Christians believe their god is any different.

  • hey kiddo

first of all your music is suck and annoying ..

second you are just a kiddo who has kiddo knowledge .

and all your assumptions are extremely weak .

and its not worth to take as serious .

  • You're a moron. He makes no assumptions in this video.

Funny how a "kiddo" knows better than you on how statistical tests work.

  • hey pinhead suck my cock when u open your mouth .

  • hahahahahaha, I'll give you a thumbs-up for that one.

  • what ever..

that doesnt going to change the fact that u are a cock sucker ..

  • "that doesnt going to change"

English isn't your first language is it? I'll give you a thumbs-up again anyway, because we all know you need the support.

  • You spelled your name with a 4? Who really needs to learn english here?

  • That's not a lack of lingual abilities, that's a lack of available names.

  • this guy is right

teriy4ki who needs to learn english , if i need it so do you.. u can suck my kok anytime but learn first:)

    muhahahaha

  • My name does not affect my ability to communicate clearly.

  • you dont even know how to right your name with correct english grammer , you need to learn english sucker ..

  • ugh religion is all i can say.

  • well said, good sir. 5 stars

  • the bible is like lord of the rings full of fiction

  • @riain01 Full of hidden wisdom

  • @riain01 not it's not. lord of the rings has awesomer battles.

  • 1000s of years and still no decent evidence or reasoning to suggest any gods. Atheism is simply open-mindedness and common sense.

  • Thats true but then again is his position racist?

  • Sorry, its been a while siunce I commented. Is whose position?

  • that guy

  • i'm sure there's some scientific explanation for why the sun is able to burn in space, a simple explanation at that

  • Haha, I think he's joking around there.

But just in case you don't know ADSTGREY, I think the sun is a nuclear reaction, rather than the standard fire we have in this atmosphere.

  • Hey atheists, if fire can't breathe in space then how come the sun is BURNING??

So much for your "science" and "reason", huh?

  • ahahahhahahahaha

  • the thing that is annoying to me about religion is that no one questions it. even if it were true, no one looks for the truth, they just believe what the bible says. maybe if they questioned it, they could find truth, and maybe some problems could actually get solved.

  • nice fucking video!!!!!

we atheists certainly dont have faith in anything maybe except for science....atheist just dont let so fake ideology corrupt their mind like religious people do

  • PART 1 Both theists and atheists need to stop trying to put the burden of proof on the other side. The atheist HAS FAITH just as the theist has FAITH. You have faith (a belief without CONCRET proof) that God does not exist. So, in my case, the burden of proof is on you—not simply because you are an atheist, but because you may want to persuade me. The same goes for me if I wanted to persuade you.

  • "If you want to persuade me"

"you may want to persuade me"

I dont. Such is the point of asymmetrical persuasion dialogue. I am not trying to persuade anyone that there is no god. I am happy to let things rest at lack of positive evidence for a deity. As such, the theist is trying to convince me that there is, and it is my job to bring a sceptical eye to those arguments.

If I were to claim there is no god, you would be right. As it stands, I am not. I see no point in proving claims I dont make.

  • PART 2 If you want to persuade me, I suggest you dont use Evolution. It is not the issue, despite the fact that many theists and atheists argue for hours about it. I say this because I know that the theist can simply say that God created life using Evolution.

  • I may have to watch this again and retract a few statements, but I dont ever remember using evolution in this video. It wouldnt make sense if I did because I've never believed it's valid to use science to try and disprove god. Your point is absolutely valid and I encourage theists to use it.

My 'Is God Science?' video demonstrates that point better than any other.

  • plenty of older people and formaer athiests have "got religon"

  • The example still very much applies. They simply have found convincing arguments using the persuasion dialogue. I have not.

  • i have never really been a theist.

    i consider myself non-theist.

  • Hello, Why are you in Black and White? Any way its more cool. Your right that rationally the Gods of religion seem be man-made myths. But for me being irrational and inviting Jesus Christ into my life seems the only way that I feel not empty and happy. This is not my imagination because I have tried many paths in life including Atheism.

  • Thats the psychological side, on creation and design. its obvious that both are absolutely everywhere. e=mc2, space vs time, electricity heat light and other energies, mass vs gravity, evolution, order and chaos, heredity and mutation. there is a balance to everything. just because we discover truth about the universe does not mean we know WHY or HOW... I mean you tell me why water freezes at 32f? you can't, the blueprints of reason will never be fully understood. just like your baby there

  • Love this video man! you've really put some deep thought to the subject and you still have an open mind about it. Bravo... im 27, and I used to be just exactly like you. I believe that all the men you listed ARE people who walked the path of righteousness in their lives. What I learned is Belief cannot be taught, it must be discovered through necessity from hells pit of solitude and hopelessness. you can tell a blind man what a ladder looks like, but until he needs to climb it, he won't hear you

  • you said it best ( it's the only rational position for someone like you to take. to each his own.

  • Exactly. Considering that we all have different information available to us, and our aims for what we want to achieve with it are different, what is the rational conclusion is different for each of us.

  • please tell the rest of the world to chill out and respect others views as long as their views aren't affecting others in a detrimental fashion. 9/11 etc.

    peace, and good luck.

  • There is a huge amount of science and prophecies in the bible and when studied by scientists often some of them devote there whole lives to it when they get started. They find all prophecies have happened that was said and the science is unbelievable for the time written. Nothing is wrong. The bible is confusing and may sound funny if you dont know the meaning but there is huge meaning everywhere when studied. A Huge portion of the bible is prophecy.

  • If any of you would do actual research and look from both views you would see that the bible has never been proven wrong and even the smartest scientists to ever live like hawkins believe in a higher intelligence. There is more faith in atheism than christianity. Many scientists that have been studying there whole lives turn to christianity because of all the many many many things that point there. They say possiblity of there not being a higher intelligence is impossible. Do science 50 yrs too

  • <
