  • This is on point...Rascals are no joke...not just another industry freak show. They rock solid.

  • #407

  • Dino, you're killin' me. How good are you!

  • Hanson covered this song, it's really great.

  • AWE! SOMEBODY CUT THIS SHORT RIGHT AT THEPOINT OF EXPLOSION !

  • Was a great song yet their manager took it all

  • Cool sound from the 60s.. I said baby it's for sure I got the fever you got the cure!!! Give me that goog goog lovin, that's all I need.

  • Cool song....

  • yo pensaba que era de boby mc ferrin ¡¡¡¡ ... muy buena

  • Flipped brought me here. :)

  • Felix Cavaliere one of the greatest voices to come out of Jersey! Behind that guy Frank something from Hoboken!!!!

  • @jrzmac It must be in the WATER :)

  • Great pool music. A timeless classic. How can I be sure? Pardon the pun.

  • @tkfaclark definitely good pool music

  • Is this a first with no bass guitar?

  • @jrodri1538 Felix is playing pedal bass on the organ (watch his feet). He's about the only rock performer I know who did that. But from I read the Rascals used studio bassists on their records.

  • @jrodri1538 The Doors didn't have a bass player either. The keyboard player, Manzarek, played the bass line.

  • fucking good musicians!

  • I played this on 8 track hundreds of times.

  • I have the same guitar barney kessel vintage guitar great group

  • my great uncle wrote this song. his name is Arthur Resnick

  • the one person who thumps down must of been REALLY F-ed up

  • This is great stuff! I love Eddie! It doesn't get better than this!

  • I went to his live at Blue Note Tokyo last night. The Band is formed with his daughter and other three young(er than Felix) american guys. His voice is amazingly still powerful and the tone hasn't changed at all. You never imagine to listen to his voice and the sound of his playing organ live just in front of you because itWe shook our hands after the play.... thanks to this opportunity. I was a dream.

  • The Olympics performed it originally...

The Grateful Dead did a nice cover of it...

But The Rascals are tops!!!....They did a better version. :)

I remember listening to this classic on the radio back in '66.

  • Couldn't they have let Eddie at least pretend to play a proper instrument - bass maybe? He looks like the roadie's girlfriend who's been allowed to join in on elementary percussion for the encore.

  • love this song! heard it from My Girl

  • This is so raw! It's beautiful! It captures the raw excitement that The Rascals had, live! ... the quarter note triplets. ... the choked cymbal work! ... too bad it ends so abruptly.

  • @Drumcam Interesting info, Gonna look it up, We had MUSIC then!

  • 50s 60s 70s and 80s the best eras on this planet

  • Felix singin' lead, playin' organ, and bass with his feet! Eddie almost as cool as Davy Jones on tambourine! Dino the worlds most underrated drummer and Gene holding his own...way cool American band

  • Fantastic!

  • Where's H.G.Wells time machine when ya need it?

  • They're white?! I heard this song 15 years ago for the first time and thought they were black...until now.

  • AC/DC took over where they left of!

  • @Jenscool What the hell are you talking about?

  • @deadheadkid92 Ac/Dc loved them back then and took there bit and made it harder, can u dig?

  • @Jenscool AC/DC is for the mentally challenged

  • @LeoLovesNature That's the way rock goes naturally.

  • Damn it, Danelli. That's some cool ass drumming.

  • They should have either taught Eddie to play bass or Gene should have take the bass. It hardly would not have turned them to ELP :)

  • I've got the fever and you got the cure...

  • Good lovin' ♫♪ ♪♫♫♪ ♪♫♫♪ ♪♫♫♪ ♪♫

  • Eddie is still 5 feet 3.

  • Felix is great, but I think the backup singer (the guy in the front with the tambourine) has a much better voice. He is super. They should have used him more!!!

  • The video from the Ed Sullivan show is better...wonder why it's gone?

  • Great video of a great song! Eddie can sure move:D

  • Ha I Feel sorry for whoever had to lift Felix Cavaliere's Hammond B-3 on that riser...

    cool video thanks

  • Where's Miles?

  • This is from the Mike Douglas Show and aired on Friday afternoon, March 3rd, 1967. After this appearance, the Young Rascals would drop the 'Young' from their name and chart five songs in 1967. "I've Been Lonely Too Long," "Groovin'," "A Girl Like You," "How Can I Be Sure," and It's Wonderful" all made Billboard's Top 20 before the end of the year. Pretty awesome... ;-)

  • Shouldn't the keyboard player be in the.....forefront?!

  • Bruce Willis sings better !

  • nice staging! The lead singer is sitting behind a giant Hammond organ, so what to do?

Put him on a riser, so you can only see the top of his head!!

  • Yeah, good point. But that's okay, Eddie Brigati is the fun one to watch in this video!

  • Now that is true soul...

  • great post!

  • Thanks so much for the great video!

  • I love this song and this is a great video of The Rascals, which they're one of my favorite bands of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is where the good stuff is and the king of rock and roll.
