Samsung Galaxy S2 voice recognition sounds weird...try asking "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" on Samsung Galaxy S2...wanna see its humour
Siri is a neat, but pretty much useless idea. Like, speaking your message, i have done that before, a couple times for fun, if its a long message i don't want to type out. But honestly, neither are nearly close to reliable. It works mediocre in a silent room. My uncle was showing off siri on his phone, and the TV in the other room was making his commands all weird.
ya i want that 4.0 too! and no matter what, if you like apple, you wont bother with taking into consideration what android has that is better. and vice versa. Apple is for peole who dont know/want to be able to customize the look of your phone (or people who don't understand how to use computers much). Apple computers are the same way. If you do any sort of business (other than graphic design) on your computer using ANY programs, microsoft is a lot more useful.
This video is neither comprehensive or useful. Siri is best at answering complex questions which is not demonstrated. For example if you asked any Android phone "the most populous state in United States" or the chemical symbol for benzene or how many people live in Shanghai etc... it wouldn't know what to do. Siri is a power user's dream. It allows you to do work faster. It is effective. It makes less mistakes then anything else in comparison. Thankfully, it has reduced my dependency on using
Why would you want to make your questions more complex? That's not very effective at all. Your google-fu is clearly lacking. Try these in voice search: "Most populous US state", "Benzene chemical formula", and "Shanghai population". Your answers could not be more obvious from the search results. Siri is clearly superior at making you feel like you're talking to a sentient being, but is it really much more effective that it gets promoted as a main reason for upgrading?
@johntsui1980 Obviously you have no friends at all and rely on Siri.
However Siri isn't innovation, Google Voice Action API is FAR SUPERIOR to Siri.
Speaktoit is based off of Google Voice Actions API and manages to compete super well with Siri, despite being made by two people, in a matter of days, the only thing siri has over Speaktoit is the nice graphics, which I really fancy and think lack on every android equivalent of Siri.
Siri is gimmicky. Samsungs is actually functional.

@johntsui1980 Well.... if Siri cant process the most simplest of questions, might as well just do it by hand instead of voice.
