I think that the Big 12 defenses are more geared up to stop the spread attack...

Big 10 is bigger, stronger, BUT slower.

Neb's O-Line will be bigger. with with 3 starters leaving, the back ups are at least 10 pounds heavier, and stronger I've heard.

Taylor will probably have a big year if he stays healthy

I would like to see some of the HBs put at WR (not permanantly) for motion sweeps and triple options, like Oregon does.

We have TOO much speed to play a shotgun two TE formation... We need 3 WR on field at all times to spread defense (and actually pass on first downs, they had success when they did).

I agree. That TE streak did work alot last year but now we have to mix it up like Oregon does cuz that 1 dimension offense isnt gonna work in the Big 10. We focused too much on the run at times which did cost us games. The Oklahoma State game proved we could attack defenses by passing alot. Just gotta mix the run and pass to where it actually works.

tmart sucked very very badly at times this year ex: bowl game, tamu, ku and the ccg. yeah he has very little pocket presence, routinely throws the ball behind his recievers(plus awkard throwing motion), and is possibly a cancer to the entire team. With that said.......... i'm still a fan, thus here's to hoping he tears up the big 10 next season.

@iliveinabox4 1. Well, why would u bring up his passing motion in the 1st place then if you know Martinez is capable of passing? 2. Obviously Martinez is a talented player. If a talented player has the right coaching he can do anything. He's a freshman QB with 965 rushing yards and 1,600 pasing yards with being out of 4 games. Thats pretty good considering he's only a freshman. Plus we have 2 other QB recruits coming in that are just as good or even better than him so why would u be worried?

I mentioned it because he's not a capable passer! he couldn't throw a screen pass which would've helped a lot this year when teams were loading the box and blitzing all the time. also some quarterbacks have a weird throwing motion but are still accurate (phillip rivers?). btw i'd be worried (weird because i didn't even say that i was) if starling and turner both weren't true freshmen....... and starling won't even make it to lincoln.
