  • A GOOD Clear view on Slices... Thank YOU...

  • How do I add html code to the slices once inside of dreameaver. Im very lost lol if someone has a video that would be good XD

  • Good job, I may do an updated version of with for the latest Photoshop

  • Awesome. I definitely learned a lot. Thanks!!

  • thank you!!!

  • Very very helpful, Thanks. :)

  • REALLY useful, thanks very much!

  • Great tutorial! Given that the screen resolutions are always changing, what would you say the best size is to make the document in Photoshop?

  • Fantastic Tutorial, so clear and easy to follow.

  • I have the CS5 version of Photoshop and for some reason it doesn't let me click on that tool bar at 11:27 I don't even have that tool bar! Good tutorial though =D

  • Great video. The course that I learned from is ----> LEARNHTMLNOW (DOT) INFO <-------

  • The easiest way to convert photosop to html is to download book : "Photoshop To HTML by jimy9".

This book will learn you how to do it step by step in 1 hour.

  • I don't get it :'( so how does this make a complete website that fills up your entire browser, along with text that I don't want to display as an image :'(

  • @Gert623 You have to use code to make it fit to the resolution of the browser. The text would be inserted into the html file with a text editor.

  • Excellent tutorial

  • Why didn't I find you earlier? :( I never would have wasted money to go to a shitty class where they hand u a book and tell u type what's in it.

  • I wanted to thank you very much for a great quality tutorial. There are so many out there - a good process and thorough walk through is hard to find. Wish you much success in helping others - definitely helped me learn a few new things.

    Cheers from Los Angeles~ Lilliana.

    :)

  • great video. you could have cut down even a little bit more on the optimizing part (especially towards the end) but otherwise well done! thx

  • Very nice tutorial .. thank you for being through and clear

    you have a good one

  • slice the slice into the slice and slice it with a slice then slice again

  • Wonderful tut.

  • THANKYOUU!

  • you should upload two versions of your videos: one at normal speed and one at 2x. good tutorial, thanks.

  • Hi, i like your videos, can you tell me a good resolution for a website please? because i dont know what is normal to use, thanks :)

  • @dantaz thums up for this so it will be answered

  • @brianvdberg0 donne :p

  • @dantaz if you want to be really secure use 1024x768 but if you know that most of your visitors will be viewing your page from modern pcs (for example you are creating a page for a pc gaming community) try something bigger and possible widescreen

  • @dantaz 800*600 is most likely the absolute minimum. It's good to work with something that resolution and base your design around it.

  • @dantaz Manually open a new file at 72dpi 800x600 (or whatever length you like), Many of the later photoshop editions have it in presets, ie, open photoshop-File-New--Presets-web. Here you can choose your size, however i wouldnt go above 800 pixel width as this width size is ideal for most screens especially the smaller screens and nobody likes to use the bottom slide scroll on a website!

  • @dantaz 1280 - 720

  • @dantaz 600 and 800, so that it's sort of centered within your web browser.

  • this really help

  • Thanks~~~ But how to align it???

  • Thanks a lot! This helps. Now I know the gist of it, which is a lot. Time to get designing

  • Very helpful, thankyou!

  • Thank u so mch.ths vdo wz realy hlpful 4 me.

  • perfect, man!!! thanks!

  • Amazing video! But I have two questions that maybe you or anyone else here could answer. First question: Say if I made a website and dedicated one of the slices I made to a "news section" well maybe a month later I wanted to change the wording of the news. For example it used to say "the company is brand new." Then a few months later I wanted it to say "The company has been around for 6 months." How would I do that? And my second question: How do you center the page in the middle of Internet ex

  • Thanks so much. I didn't know that you could export it to html. You saved me hours and hours and hours and hours of hair pulling sleepless nights. • Thanks a mil for Sharing your knowledge!!!

  • you have NO idea how much this helped me! Thank you so much! :)

  • Just guessing here, but it seems easier to save buttons and stuff like that with a transparent BG as a .png and save layer for layer, then put them together in dreamweaver because then you can edit and move stuff without getting unnessecary backrounds on icons :)

  • With 'Slice and Export a Website Layout + HTML: Photoshop Tutorial!' and 'Import your PSD layouts into Dreamweaver!', these two videos make the best tutorial combo I ever learn. These tutorials are very resourceful & informative.

    Thank you. TutVid.
