Btw, I hate the Empire but at the same time; I don't trust Ulfric. The Empire had failed and should be destroyed then remade with a ruler of the Dragon Blood. At the same time, Ulfric is more only for the Nords and he is very racist guy.
@jusey1 - That about sums up my thoughts on the matter. In my mind, Ulfric is merely the lesser of two evils. He's a great option if you happen to be a Nord and believe strongly in their way of life.. but when playing a Breton, my choice to support him was largely to do with his anti-Thalmor policy. After the immediate threat of Alduin, the -real- enemy is bound to be the Altmeri Dominion.. and the Empire isn't exactly doing mankind any favours by giving the Thalmor such free rein.
@BardMichaelKelly Hm. I do like Ulfric's racism toward Dunmer. I play as an Argonian and if you know the relationship between the Dunmer and Argonian in the lore; you should know why I like Ulfric's racism toward them.

Right after I played this song in a concert at The Winking Skeever, a guard came up to me, looked me right in the eye, and said, "I used to be a bard like you.. then I took an arrow in the knee". That's when I noticed the other guard by the door who was fingering his longbow and glaring at me.
That was really beautiful. I love that you made it your own. The in-game versions of the songs aren't all the same and I'm glad to see the ones here in our world can be distinct as well. :)
Thanks for the comments, folks. :D Funnily enough, I'd never actually -heard- 'The Age of Oppression' in-game when I recorded this song. Most of my adventuring had been done in and around the Empire-controlled holds, and I only found out about the pro Stormcloak version when I went online to look for lyrics.
As a result, there were several takes that I had to scrap because I'd accidentally start singing the chorus from 'The Age of Aggression' that I'd heard the bards singing all over the place.
