I think Lululemon holds a more holistic approach, and the fact that it has all the different reasons of why people run is great. Normally people who exercise to eat would not actually invest the time to go to a Lululemon run club, and I think Lulu was just trying to make this a more down to earth video, because it is true, many active people do care about eating, and obviously that lady isn't anorexic, but hey she can treat herself without guilt.. that she can at least do.
@xPoleVault I think it's great if they are enjoying being active and leading a healthy lifestyle. I'm all for exercise :) It's just when guilt is associated with eating that bothers me. It is okay to eat ice cream and not feel the need to go to the gym to burn it off. I see too many people come into the gym stressed and anxious because they want to work off whatever food they just ate that they feel they "shouldn't" eat. Who needs that added stress in life? It's okay to treat yourself.
That girl doesn't have an eating disorder. In order for a person to actually have one, it has to be an obsession. I run to eat. I love eating, but I have a slow metabolism so I have to be active to maintain a healthy bodyweight, especially because I like junk food and want to have it (in moderation, of course) without becoming obese. There's nothing wrong with that.
Hey Lululemon! Love your clothes, but I have to say Im a bit disappointed with the video. I've recently been studying about the media, society, and the prevalence of eating disorders. Running/exercising in order to be allowed to eat is not healthy. or conducive to a happy lifestyle! Eat in order to move, not move in order to eat. There's a bit too much guilt associated with eating nowadays. That aspect of your video just does not sit well with me.
